Down to Earth is a wonderful place to shop for vitamins and other health products. I have been shopping here for over 20 years and the staff are helpful,friendly,and educated in the products they sell. They have a large selection of vitamins, and in the back of the store you will find various health foods,spices,teas and snacks. They even have fresh pressed peanut butter and almond butter. They have a freezer full of nuts,seeds,legumes,nutritional yeast,etc, that are always fresh.They have a freezer with vegetarian products and a wonderful selection of organic candy and natural beverages.They sell natural products for the home, like soaps,shower gels,etc, and a wonderful selection of essential oils in the front of the store, along with natural and homeopathic remedies. When you check out they even offer you an array of complimentary health magazines to take home. The store is now under new ownership and I cant say enough about how wonderful she is as a proprietor. Always a positive experience shopping here.

I called this location to see if they had any dairy free cheeses available. The owner who answered laughed and asked me how one would make cheese without dairy. A pretty rude conversation ensued after that when I asked if there were any dairy free desserts he had available. He was very unhelpful as well as disrespectful. Allergies are serious. I was hoping to buy a bulk order of dairy/lactose free items, but I will definitely take my money elsewhere. Its very difficult to shop local when local locations dont have the customer in mind, guess Im going to Columbus to get some Trader Joes love. They never disappoint.

Love having this place available, however, the 411 read it was open till 5:30 AM...I thought for a second how could it be...but then decided well why would a location say theyre open at specific hours if really theyre not. I just drove from Bellville and its 5;30 PM! Like how it should read on this information page.
