I hate to leave negative reviews but after my experience with this repair shop, my phone was in much worse condition than when I took it to the shop initially, not to mention I was still out $100. On a positive note, the customer service was very friendly. It started when I took my Iphone6 in for a screen repair. I was hesitant to get it repaired but the spidering was getting out of control. After several hours I came back to pick up my phone. The screen looked new and it appeared to be in working condition. The next day I realized the sensor that turns the screen dark when talking on it had been damaged. It was in perfect working coniditon when I dropped it off. I called the shop to inquire about the sensor. Like I previously stated, great customer service. I brought my phone back for the repair, and after an hour, it was unable to be fixed. The screen was replaced and a complimentry screen protector was placed on the phone. The screen protector was the compensation I received for the phone being damaged during the repair. While I understand that I signed agreements, this still seemed as if my phone was returned in worse shape than when I took it. Although this was irritating, I understand this was a risk I took by taking my phone to a repair shop. This was not my major complaint. I am not very rough with my Iphone. In the past I have had many Iphones and have NEVER cracked a screen before. I keep my phone in a protective case. Shortly after the repair, my phone fell off my nightstand onto the carpet and a crack appeared in the top corner of the actual screen, even though there was now a screen protector. My major concern/complaint is for the quality of screen the Device Savers are using. It should not have happened that if a quality screen was placed on my Iphone, that after 1 drop, onto carpet, the screen should have cracked again. In retrospect, my advice would be to ask about the quality of the screen being replaced as this was an expensive fix and now 1 month later, it will need to be replaced again.

My mother in law took in an ipad mini two weeks ago to have the screen repaired. There were issues with the repair and the store decided to replace the ipad with a "new" one with a 90 days guarantee! When the new one was available, they provided complimentary tempered glass screen and button! Well, it turns out the screen and button were needed to hide how messed up the new ipad was! I decided to accompany her back to the store to ask to a refund of the services rendered (a mere $69.54) and they claimed that she had caused the smudges on the screen and the scratches on the back (the original ipad was mint, they have photos to prove it!). The store manager even accused my mother in law of lying and scratching and stepping on the ipad herself! (she has been an outstanding teacher for 30 years!) All we asked was for a refund of the services paid, 69$ so we could go elsewhere and have the problems fixed. It was refused. We decided to take the ipad to Apple where it was confirmed that the smudge on the screen would not have been caused by stepping on it! (Whos lying now!!!) and that the start button was not right (its not flat) (that is why they had covered it with a sticker button!)... If you make a mistake its OK but at least admit it and make it right! Dont take advantage of an elderly person, make her go back and forth (4-5 times)and scam her! They would not even honor the 90 days guarantee! I noticed in previous reviews that the store flaunts that they are a veteran family owned business! I would appreciate if they didnt throw around the veteran word so easily as it is an offense to all honest veterans out there like my husband (and son of the lady they ripped off!) What happened to us deserves a call to the police for thievery and defamation!

My initial visit to Device Savers, based on positive reviews was in April of 2015. The screen of my iPhone 5 was separating from the phone and it was starting to act glitchy. The service was wonderful, straightforward and honest and the device was fixed promptly( the battery had expanded and pushed the screen out) and for a reasonable price. I was also very impressed with how well they communicated with me throughout the entire repair process which only took a day. 8 months later, the screen is separating again. I took it back to Device Savers yesterday to see if the work and the battery were covered. I was informed that they only guarantee/warranty? the battery for three months which surprised me. I also thought that maybe I shouldnt have it fixed there again since the workmanship didnt last very long. Chris asked me to leave the phone with him and that he would see what he could do and that he understood the frustration of having to come back for the same problem. I got a call from Chris a few hours later that my phone was fixed, good as new, no problem. When I picked up the phone, at no charge, I told Chris how grateful I was. He thanked me for giving them the opportunity to do the work and fix the problem. The customer service was impeccable. I cant recommend Device Savers enough.

Having used Device Savers multiple times, I can say that the service there is consistently excellent. Device Savers is awesome. They repaired my daughters Samsung Galaxy S3 after she cracked the screen then dropped it in a toilet. About a year ago, they also repaired the broken charger port on my sons Nintendo DS XL. Everyone there is polite and respectful. They take the time to completely understand the problem, and explain their process for diagnostics and repair. For example, for the Samsung Galaxy S3 they explained that not all types of water damage are repairable. They explained how much the diagnostic and follow on repair costs would be, and kept me informed during the process. Fortunately, the damage was repairable. The repair was completed in a day for a very fair price, and the phone has worked perfectly ever since. The charger port on the Nintendo DS XL they fixed last year, still works perfectly as well. Bottom line: this shop does great work, at a fair price, with the most professional service you will find. Don waste your time with any other device repair shop, just go to Device Savers, where you know theyll get the repair done correctly and treat you right.

I have never received such outstanding customer service! I took my iphone 5s in to replace it’s shattered screen. They warned me up front about a concern they had regarding a sensor that may be damaged underneath, how much it would be to replace, and asked permission before I left if it is damaged to replace it (seeing that they were keeping my phone with no way to contact me). When I returned they explained that the only screen they had left has a knick in it and that they would get more the following day and that I must come back so they can replace it to 100% perfection. I did not and do not mind the knick as it is so tiny and prior to them replacing the screen, the phone was being held together by tape. She was so persistent in having me come back and discounting my service even though I insisted that I was fine. I walked out with a phone screen that works, a tempered glass screen protector (free and installed right there), AND discounted service! I have never in my life experienced such honest, above and beyond customer service. The Savers actually care; I can’t say enough about them! They are now my go to tech people and I highly recommend everyone go there as well!
