We bought a sectional sofa set at this store in December 2015. Approximately one week after received the sofa set, we discovered that the surface on the sofa has numerous cracks and some were flaking off. Two of the plastic bases of the sofa were cracked. The stitches at various area also came loose, especially at the corners that handle more weight pressure. I can tell that the set they delivered was not a new set but an old dry-rotted display set that was cleaned prior to be delivered. At its current condition, I think the $900 sofa will not last another year. I contacted the store and they were firm about not allowing me returning the sofa, exchanging it for a different piece, or getting any in-store credits. At the time this review was posted, Itd been 1 month since we had the sofa delivered and I am sad to say that we only using it very sparingly just to avoid further damaging it. Its purpose now is more of a display piece than a comfortable sofa to seat on before it become trash. Only a month after making the purchase, we are already searching the market for another sofa!!! My mistake for accepted a damaged merchandise without thoroughly inspecting it. However, base on my own experience with American Signature Furniture of Tampa, I felt that the business is lacking integrity and demonstrating extremely poor customer service efforts. My assessments are based on my personal experience with the store, others might be different. As for me, I will never conduct business with American Signature Furniture of Tampa again and will never recommend anyone I know to this store.

So after searching for a new sofa set we finally decided on one at american signature. We ended up getting talked into about a 7 year warranty that would cover "Anything and Everything". 2 years later thinking we still had this "Anything and Everything" warranty we call to let them know a piece on the funiture was broken and we are than informed that our warranty only covers fabric. After talking to the manager I thought everything was great he said he would send someone out to check out the sofa and see if it can be replaced. Tech came out says he didnt have the parts and has to put in a work order so they can come pick them up and get them fixed, and it would take about 10 business days. I was ok with that as long as my sofas get fixed. Later that night we receive a call saying we have to bring the sofas in ourselves If we wanted them fixed. Which 2ould require me renting a truck and driving to them twice. And we still only have our fabric warranty which only covers rips and stains. Clearly they are telling people something completely different. I read other complaints about the same warranty that they say covers "Anything and Everything". Ive given up on this place experience was great at 1st. Now this place is a joke and were stuck with buying new sofas cause there warranty program is so great. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.

Finally settled on a big comfy couch from American Signature after searching high and low and at what seemed like every furniture store on our coast. Loved it. Smooth transaction from the purchase to the delivery. We are a year and half in and I had some issues with the fabric, tried to use the warranty but they advised it wasnt covered so I decided to call store directly. Customer service was pleasant to work with from the start, even the tech they sent out Dave was awesome to work with, informative, chatty. After a couple more calls back and forth with customer service, I finally had the pleasure of dealing with Jason Grant, a manager who seriously went above and beyond to make the situation right--all from a simple round of calls. Never even had to stop in the store, everything was settled via the phone and delivery of my new set will be here within the week. From my years working in customer service, I am very judgemental when it comes to dealing with various companies and their representatives. Jason out did himself and made the situation right without me even having to ask for a thing. It was just taken care of, period. Very pleased with the outcome and plan on making future purchases from this same store.

I tried to give this place so many opportunities to win me over as a repeat customer. First time I went to them I bought a leather living room set and office chair. The office chair literally fell apart the first day I used it. Signature did replace the chair. The dual recliner sofa I bought broke within a month of purchasing the set. Springs literally snapped and I cannot figure out how they snapped...possibly from recliner handle.... no clue. I called American Signature as I was sure this was covered under warranty and I was shocked to be told nope not covered! ARE U KIDDING ME!! Only thing covered is leather damage.... and they gave me a telephone number to a local furniture repair shop! Also the leather on recliner chair is wearing off. I then gave them another chance and purchased a bedroom set .... the wood chipped off on the dresser like a piece of paper. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt I really did, but the salesman lie to you and you find out later when there are issues with the furniture and the quality of their furniture is not good at all. I will be going elsewhere to purchase furniture from now on as I am so disappointed.

Do not - I repeat - do not purchase this desk (or the accompanying file cabinet) from this company! First, and foremost, this does NOT contain two separate locking file drawers. This is false advertising. Ive had this desk delivered to me TWICE (which well touch on in second) and both times, it came with ONE locking drawer. To add insult to injury, the keys dont even work. As for the delivery, not only are you paying for it (in which some respectable furniture companies dont even charge to deliver), but they purposely deliver your item damaged. When the first desk arrived, it was visibly scratched and dinged. When I called to complain, Customer Service already knew about the damages. They apologized and sent out a replacement. This one arrived with shoddy assembly. A tech is scheduled to come out and fix the issues, but who knows when? I have called the company 1/2 dozen times for a date, but have been placed on hold for a long period of time (or inexplicably had my call dropped!) This is poor quality furniture for a company that uses the name AMERICAN in their title. Shop elsewhere!

Well, there is no "Cero or negative stars". So... My experience was bad. No surprise after reading some reviews. I tend not to pay attention to bad reviews, as some people are just whining for stupid things. But I should have pay attention. I made the purchase online after visiting the store before July 4th, and the estimated time for pickup was 1 week. I waited the week, They called me and said that, my piece was ready for pick up. I went to for it, and it wasnt there. The warehouse manager told me that, the item was pushback from the delivery truck and re-schedule for delivery to them for another week. the worst part is that I have my family sleeping on the floor for over a week and the compensation for their mistake was only $25 dollars. 5 Years ago , I also bought from them, and the furniture didnt last more than 3 years. We dont have pets or kids, to say that it was due to a lack of care. Just bad quality. I gave them a once last chance to redeem themselves from the 1st bad experience. But I guess, enough is enough. simply awful. Good luck if you buy from this place.!
