Picked out a lovely recliner. Arrived and was beautiful leather, however it was a rocker recliner and we wanted a recliner only. We felt we could compromise and have the rocker recliner, however, when reclining the chair still rocks, and any movement while reclined, makes it unsafe. A repair person was sent out and nothing is wrong with the chair, but is a feature of the design. We were told repeatedly at the point of sale that Sims stood behind their products and provided customer service. The salesperson toted that he was the owners nephew, however, the nephew nor anyone else has ever called back despite repeated messages left to rectify the unsafe chair or replace the chair with one that is felt safe. Have bought over 10k in furniture in this store over the past 15 years and will no longer provide this store our patronage.

The buying experience in the store went okay, but there customer service is in charge of delivery and this started with calling me on Friday after 430 and I just miss answering the call so the message said call back. I called right back and they had a recording on saying that closed at 430 and wouldnt be open till Tuesday. On Tuesday I called and they said they would deliver on Friday. I requested afternoon because I work and cant do mornings. On Thursday they call ssy theyll be there between 8-12 am. I remember them I couldnt do anything till after 12.. they made a comment about seeing that note, but they have it for the 3rd delivery and they cant do it.

The sales people in the store are very nice, however my overall experience has been awful! I purchased a dining room table July 2, paid in full and as of August 2nd still do not have my table, I was told it comes from the warehouse which is fine however a month to wait is ridiculous! I let my husband talk me in to going back to purchase other furniture and it has been 3 weeks and I have been told it will not even ship until next week. Im very regretful doing business here.
