Cheap is as cheap does. You get what you pay for. Items will wear out with only a few uses. That has been my experience with Harbor Freight. Also, I was not allowed to return or even exchange several items that were defective. I would rather pay a little more money for a tool and reliably use it than it break when I really need it and have to stop my project and have to wait until I can buy a replacement or wait for it to be warrantied. Examples: cordless drill ran four times then battery wouldnt charge, pipe expander did not work and broke, tool chest sits lopsided after assembly at home, screwdriver tip broke, etc, etc. So much more money wasted than what I wouldve spent on higher quality tools.

Usually they are very good. Unfortunately, I have to give a bad review because of a expensive compressor I bought that they decided not to fix. I used it 4 times and it went bad. When I tried to find out why it was discontinued. Id imagine because of this issue. It SPEWED oil everywhere. I emailed their customer service polite but no help. If your buying anything big (compressor, pressure washer, etc...) your better off going to the big boys Home Depot or Lowes. Maybe they do better quality control and wont let things like this happen. Wish I would of now

I have spent several hundred dollars buying personal tools and supplies from Harbor Freight Tools company, as well as many hundreds of dollars purchasing supplies and tools for my business. Their anti-gun policy is an abhorrent disrespect to our nation. This is America, not Nazi Germany. The FEELINGS of some of their customers are irrelevant to my RIGHTS. I will NEVER spend another penny in their stores so long as they maintain a policy forbidding the legal carry of firearms in their stores by customers or employees.

ordered a air compressor from out store because the one they have on display all the time they never have in store so i made sure to let them know that i was interested and would love to have one on the next truck well waited a week and when the truck came it wasnt there because they dont carry them no more ,,, wouldve been great to know that a week ago .. wouldnt recommend this place to no one ......

Needed to exchange a nail gun on Monday that was malfunctioning, but was told that I couldnt do that without the managers okay. Adding to the idiocy of the problems was that the manager would not be back to the store until Wednesday. So theres no one in charge when the manager is away? Ridiculous!

Staff was friendly and pleasant. Cashier even left her register to help me find an item. Store was in neat condition, and everything seemed to be in order... a very rare sight and experience for tallahassee retail stores.

Grumpy cashier, disgusting bathrooms with merchandise and trash every where! I only have come to this place to get free things they have coupons for what a dump! Save your money and go to Lowes or home depot
