I went to buy a Christmas tree and the staff acted as if that was preposterous. They all seemed to have attitudes. Rude. Aggressive. Unprepared. It was as if they hoped the long wait, prices and poor service would detour me from buying the tree. They were stand-offish and literally had NO idea how to handle the sell of the tree. They didnt want to load a tree that was unwrapped because the wrapped trees were "easier for them to handle" so I had to take the gamble and hope the tree was in good condition. I got home to find, it is not. There are gaps all around and I had to practically shave the whole bottom myself. As a kid I worked at a Christmas tree shop and luckily I remembered how to make it look acceptable. I feel bad for a regular person or family buying a tree there. I wont be returning.

These folks rock. When they say Ace is the "helpful place," this is much more than a marketing slogan. Ill go there to not only buy things I need for a project, but to ask and make sure they are indeed the things I need. They are always incredibly helpful and I only wish I could buy more there rather than having to go to Home Depot or Lowes for the bigger purchases (appliances, etc.) that Ace doesnt carry. Ace is always the first stop unless I *have* to go somewhere else. Keep it up!

Problem I had was an associate who literally hung up in the middle of our conversation. Im easy to get along with and have enjoyed purchasing from the Apalachee ace hardware; however, Im now doubting their true intentions. Maybe Walmart also has what Im searching for...nothing like a smart-alec clerk to ruin a few years of patronage. Poor Business ethic.

They live up to their slogan. I just got off the phone with one of the employees and he did everything short of coming out to my house to fix my problem. I worked at Lowes for 3 years so I definitely appreciate the challenge of giving dedicated customer support.

Awesome staff - I cant say enough about the folks who work there. The problem is low inventory. The shelves are half bare and have been every time I go in there. I really wish they kept inventory better stocked, because this is a great store for customer service.

Convenient location for me as opposed to the 20 min trip to Lowes/Home Depot. Better selection than Wal-Mart which is right around the corner. Staff is super helpful. Sure, you may pay a buck or two more, but it is worth it.

Yes the other place is fine and closer but this places gets in the kind of grass seed we like. One of the guys usually helps us walk it out and load it in the truck. Very nice guys that work there. <3

Lots of hardware available for many projects but they charge too much on most items. If time or distance isnt an issue, I prefer going to a larger hardware store.
