Ordered a grill online, opted for free assembly. Got a confirmation email that expressly said items needing assembly would take a little longer, and that I should wait for a notification that my order was ready for pickup before heading to the store. Got the pickup notification the following day, saying everything was ready. Went to go pick it up, person at the customer service desk said at first that there was a delivery truck and Id have to wait. I told him I had JUST rented a truck and had a limited amount of time to get the grill moved. Then he says to me that since I wanted it aassembled, Id have to wait, because the people that assemble the items come on Tuesdays. He said this like I was supposed to know this, even though its not on the notification. I told him I wouldnt have shown up if I didnt get the email saying it was ready. He was very rude and condescending and offered to try to find a floor model thats been assembled, otherwise Id have to take a boxed unit. I opted for a refund. He wouldnt even give me a receipt, saying they dont offer receipts for online refunds, leaving me to call customer service. Ill go to Lowes and pay $40.00 more for the same item and better customer service. I wont be going to this Home Depot again.

Its unusual for me to leave a bad review, but my experience here leaves me no choice. I made an online pick-up-at-the-store order and the company website told me it would be available to pick up today. So I headed over to the store when it became apparent I wasnt going to be able to get there before close if I waited for their order-ready email. When I got to the customer service counter, I got hostility and annoyance projected at me for I guess having the audacity to expect my order to be ready when their website told me it would be. "Youre supposed to wait until you get an email" and "unfortunately there are other people ahead of you" delivered in an arrogant DMV-style tone of voice was what I got to my polite and patient request to pick my order up. Two thumbs down Home Depot. You and your employees have got a lot to learn from Amazon. I should say that 2 of the 3 employees I dealt with were helpful and courteous, and did treat me as if they actually appreciated my business. The other one was simply insulting, and shouldnt be in a customer facing position.

I wanted to buy security screen doors; so, I went to Home Depot and spoke to their "milling expert", a gent named "Scott". As it turned out in exploratory conversation, Scott was too lazy to get off his duff and check the price of a door. He was also too ignorant to know that 1/4 + 1/4 = 1/2! I was flabbergasted. The guy is Mr. Milling on Larryville Highway and he cant do fractions. The man measures windows and doors for a precise, air-tight fit and he doesnt know fractions? What the hell does he think is on a tape measure? Tape measures are laiyedout in 1/16" or 1/8", or both. "Scott" gave the impression that he didnt know 16 x 1/16" = 1 inch. I fully intended to buy three screen, security doors, and even payed for a "professional" measurement. After it became clear that "Scott" couldnt do fractions, I left and went to a competitor. A milling guy who doesnt know fractions is like a weatherman who doesnt know the difference between sunshine and rain.

I needed help with a reoccuring issue on a reconditioned pressure washer. There were three customer service people who were awesome, alvin, sonia, and rhonda. I needed a manager, there was one named cathy who was rude and seemed to lack professional customer service skills. The other was named Drew, he was amazing, every time ive ever dealt with him Im reminded of why The Home Depot is my store of choice for contracting needs. He was personable, flexable, attentive and respectful. Aside from the other manager, i had a great experience. 4/5 stars seems appropriate given that she was rude and confrontational, otherwise. Drew is the man. Home Depot has helpped me build a small business from the ground up and rhey have my loyalty.

This should really be zero stars. My family ordered 3 replacement doors for our home on October 19 and the order is still incomplete. We received the back door and the garage door and still have not received the front entry door replacement. When they installed my rear door the door it was done when only my mother was at the house and they left it uneven and not properly closing. They even tore off the base boards by the door and left them off the wall. The garage door will not close at all unless you lift up on the handle or slam it forcefully. We still are having problems with the doors and Home Depot has yet to accept responsibility for their contractors to have the issue resolved.

Went there to get a Christmas tree this past December - they lost our tree between the cashier and the car (while we waiting in line for 30 minutes - they insisted on putting the tree on the car for us) and so tried to give us a diseased and shriveled alternative. We had to convince them that that was unacceptable and asked for either a refund or the opportunity to select another tree ourselves. These basic customer service concepts seemed to move through their brains with the speed of mud and the novelty of honest altruism. Id be more willing to write this off except that, based on other reviews, this seems to be a common trend at this location...

Inventory is fair. Store stays in out of stock condition for a large number of items, shelves are fronted and filled with stock to make merchandise look full instead of packing down or ordering correctly. A few helpful associates, most have made customer avoidance an art. Have been in most of the metro and north Hds and several in Florida;. This seems to be the trend since Frank Blakes retirement. Merchandising, Tool Rental and Customer Service are headed back to the "no offence to you, Bob" Nardelli days of Home Depot. Somebody needs to get the boss back out of retirement.

Im a regular at this location, usually in here at least twice a week. Some days it is difficult to find an associate to help me find something. And it is frustrating when I have to go to another location to get some wood cut because their saw is almost always down. According to an employee, it is an older saw and instead of replacing it with a new one they send someone out to fix it (and its broken again in days). They sell/rent saws, they should be allowing their associates to use one of them. About to start taking my business to Lowes.
