I usually do NOT like to give businesses a bad review, however, this store has many, many, many issues that needs to be addressed. First off, they have NO customer service/skills. I went into this store, as its closest to my home, to purchase a new laptop. The employees that were working the day I went in the store were ALL playing on the computers. When I asked them a question about a laptop, I was ignored. He never even answered my questioned as he was too into whatever he was doing on the laptop to care about what I had asked. Secondly, in order to receive any assistance, if you call this assistance, I had to walk up to the front of the store and ask the guy in the yellow shirt if there were any employees that could help me or if there wasnt any at the moment if he could help me. He told me that he couldnt leave his work station, which I understood, however, when you arent receiving the proper customer service, you would "think" a manager would step in to help you. I do NOT think there are any managers who work at this store and if there is a manager, Best Buy hired them off the street without any additional training whatsoever. I have a degree in Human Resource and every employee at this facility would be fired or they would receive the proper training to do their job correctly and provide superior customer service. Their work ethics at this point are totally obsolete. Im unsure of whether or not corporate is aware of what is happening at this store, however, I fully intend to write the CEO/COO and address my concerns with them. I like Best Buy, however, this is the ONLY store that I find needs a total revamp in regards to the employees and managers. Going back to the day I wanted to purchase a laptop, the employee in the yellow shirt used his radio to call an employee to assist me since I was receiving no help in regards to my purchase. The same employee that was "playing" on the laptop answered and said that he was "busy" and that it would be a little bit before he could assist me. The ONLY thing he was busy doing was playing on the Apple laptop doing absolutely nothing. He wrote on a posted note not to "touch" the laptop as he was in the process of downloading or playing a game on there and didnt want to lose his place on the game. That laptop is the one that I was interested in purchasing, so after a 1/2 hour of going back and forth between employees and seeing if I could receive some assistance, I walked out and was completely disgusted by these employees behavior. They are VERY lucky that I am NOT their Human Resource director as I wouldve fired each and every one of them and ran that store on my own until I could find the help I needed; help that had work ethics and excellent customer service skills. In order to properly operate a business, you MUST possess excellent/superior customer service skills in order to keep clientele coming back to make purchases. This Best Buy is DEFINITELY losing sales as their employees are NOT doing their job the way they were hired to do it. There is definitely an issue with the management team. It seems as though they are lax in their work ethics as well, which will definitely have an effect on every employee that works at this particular store. If the management team stepped up and did their job the way they were supposed to do it, then I believe this store would be more successful as it is the only Best Buy in the Spring Hill area besides the Port Richey location. I have bought MANY items from Best Buy this year alone, including a new Stainless steel fridge, stove, and Dishwasher. This Best Buy also lost a sale when I went to purchase a new washer and dryer at the same time I bought the above mentioned items as once again there was absolutely NO one around when I had questions about these items. I didnt have time to walk around the store chasing down employees. All in all, I would LOVE to work for this Best Buy. There would DEFINITELY be a turn around at the store in Spring Hill, FL and I bet the current employees wouldnt like it.

I have made many purchases at Best Buy and never had any problems until my last purchase. I bought a laptop in December and purchased a service contract through their repair service: Geek Squad. I have had to contact Geek Squad 3 times for issues, each making the computer worse than it was. On my last call, Geek Squad suggested I exchange the computer suspecting there was a defect on the hard drive. When I bought it in, The same model had been discontinued. I opted for a different brand. They offered to transfer the data to the new machine. I OKd it as long as they didnt do anything else to the machine like deleting apps. When I went to pick up the machine, they admitted removing apps. I refused the computer, went home and tried to contact them through email. BEST BUY DOES NOT HAVE A EMAIL ADDRESS CONSUMERS CAN USE. I have never heard of a "reputable" company not having an email address for consumers to contact. I called asking for a manager. After being transferred several times, I was transferred to a store manager. I told the manager all I want is to swap the computer that they messed with without my consent to move apps to another one in a sealed box. The manager then told me I would have to pay a transfer fee even though I have an extended warranty. I am going into Best Buy today to get the same computer in a sealed box. If they give me any problems I will contact an attorney regarding this. Their Geek Squad employees are totally incompetent and cant even follow simple directions. The lesson I learned is to never purchase anything from a company that doesnt have an email address to the public. I will update this later today

By far the BEST Best Buy Ive been too. Avoid the one in Westley Chapel at all cost if can, take the extra drive to the Spring Hill one. AMY over at customer service is friendly and very knowledgeable, she knows what she doing and is quick and pleasant. JASON Im assuming is a Store Manager or Manager and is by far the nicest most helpful guy there. Always coming to you asking you if you need help, and if no one is available he will help you unlike others in Westley Chapel that will just find another employee to help you. Jason goes out his way to help you and make you feel at home. The extra 15minute drive in the opposite direction is well worth the trip coming here. Brilliant staff always looking to help makes this Best Buy my home store. You guys are amazing, thank you for all your help!!

I went there last night and was told that the Land-O-Lakes store had six copies of the new 20th Anniversary Edition of APOLLO 13 on Blu-ray. So, at 8 p.m., I high-tailed it over to Land-O-Lakes from Spring Hill, making it there through red lights and traffic at 8:54 p.m. (closing time is 9 on Saturdays) only to find there were ZERO frakking copies of the movie at their store. The Spring Hill BEST BUY employees do not seem to know customer service. Its a shame because BEST BUY was such a cool store. Now, it seems to be its way out like CIRCUIT CITY went out a few years ago. Its only a matter of time now. And dont look for anyone to help you. They scatter like flies on a rib roast when you approach them for assistance.
