I bought a pipe cutterr on December 11th 2015. It wasnt able to cut the pipe I was trying to cut. On January 14th I tried to return the product with the bag and the receipt and in the original packaging. I was told by the girl in a t-shirt and jeans behind the counter that they dont do store credit. She did not offer to help me she didnt give me any advice on how to get a refund. She basically said its over 30 days you cant get your money back. I ask why not and she said because their computer had taken the part out of inventory I left the store upset and called Ace Hardware corporate headquarters and told them what happened they said that their stores privately owned and they could not control what their policies were. I asked corporate headquarters why should care if their inventory is messed up or not Im a customer I dont work for them. Also told him that I now have a color that I cant use and I mount my money and I cant get a refund even though I have the receipt in the bag and the package. They advised to try to contact the store manager or owner to see what could be done. And that if I didnt receive a refund or store credit that I would come on to this site and write a bad review. I received nothing back from the store manager or owner no reply apparently they do not care how they treat their customers. So as a warning to the general public shopping at Ace Hardware on Mariner Boulevard in Spring Hill Florida take caution if you buy something for a future project and it does not work youre out of luck. If its more than 30 days you will not get your money back or store credit even if you have the receipt the box or bag the original packaging and the part is in perfect condition I would suggest going to Lowes or Home Depot instead cuz Ive had to return items to them and theres never a problem especially when I have my receipt and I show them that the part is not damaged they return my money or give me store credit no questions asked. I can only assume that Ace Hardware must be doing fantastic business for them not to care about their customers or to offer refunds when an item of theirs does not work and a person brings it back with the receipt. 4 days after their in house privately owned policy goes out of effect. Mr owner I suggest you put up a large sign in the front of your store right by the door where everyone can see it that you do not accept returns under any circumstances after 30 days is up no exceptions to this rule even if its 31 days we wont take our part back or give you the money will just rip you off hope you go out of business soon and are replaced by someone that does care sincerely Richard McManus.

Let me first start off by saying I never take the time to leave reviews. With that being said, I just found out that we have an Ace Hardware in Spring Hill on Mariner Boulevard. I stopped in there the other day to get some specialty Hardware only to find out they are significantly less then what Ive been paying from my vendor. Terry walk me through the store and i realized quickly they have much more than Hardware there. They have very reasonably priced offshore bait Hardware and everyday household necessities. Staff was very courteous and polite, I will definitely be back!

I want say thank you to the Spring Hill community for the warm welcome as a new business owner. I have taken over the ACE Hardware store on Mariner Blvd 3 weeks ago. I have been on Google reviews and want to express that these things happened before I took over and they will NEVER happen again!! I am at this store 6 days a week and the new staff is ACE trained and ready to take care of all your hardware needs. Please come and say hi and revisit the all new store. STARTED SHOPPING AT THIS STORE ,UNTIL I PURCHASED MOTION LIGHT WITH BULBS. INSTALLED 6 WKS LATER, BULBS BLEW OUT AFTER 1 DAY TOOK BACK FOR REPLACMENTS,TOLD PAST 30 DAY WARRANTY,COULD NOT REPLACE ,BOUGHT 1 REPLACEMENT ,INSTALLED ,BLEW OUT AFTER I MINUTE, TOOK BACK AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD NOT REPLACE AND WANTED TO KNOW WHAT I WANTED TO DO....... AFTER MUCH FORETHOUGHT, THREW IT INTO THEIR TRASHCAN,YOU JUST LOST ANOTHER CUSTOMER............

It closes at 6 and when asked an employee about the Web vs store hours they were extremely rude. Friday Dec 4th @ 6:15. Will not be shopping here again.
