Had troubles with my lawn and no matter who I hired, be it True Green or East Manatee County Lawncare they could find the problem. Went to Crowders at the recommendation of a stranger I was burdening with my frustration. He said "go to Crowders" The staff knew exactly what I was talking about, diagnosed the problem and sold me the solution for a reasonable price. Even gave me directions that made better sense than the bag. I did what told and in three weeks my lawn was all new and vibrant looking.

After going to the big box store often and being disappointed with selection and no employees to speak of when help was needed this was a refreshing change. Employees were easy to find, happy and extremely eager to help. Rather than hunt for an associate they greet you right away and provide instant help. Whether I am purchasing a bolt or screw or something larger they still make you feel important.

Why so few reviews? Ive been a customer since the old Westgate store. Even then you could get obscure items like replacement plastic hinges for Coleman coolers. The guys didnt wear radio earpieces but knew just a much. Shop the sales, and you will beat the prices on the big box stores way across town.

I have been shopping at Crowder Bros Hardware for 25+ years. They have the most friendly staff that are extremely knowledgeable and very willing and to help you find whatever it is you need.... and they have EVERYTHING!! They provide a very pleasurable shopping experience!!

I needed a small piece for a ceiling light from the sixties. They had a selection of gold, silver, brown. Going to get gifts for my teen granddaughters in the gift shop.The center aisle has lots of things on sale.

Love this place! Service like an old fashioned hardware store with an EXTENSIVE selection and VERY helpful and knowledgeable staff. Surprisingly, their pricing is competitive with big boxes on many items.

Love the gift shop! Brighton, homemade fudge, gifts, cards and home decor. I could easily spend hours browsing here while Hubby plays in the hardware section - great for us both!
