I went to Sears Auto Center on a Saturday afternoon since my vehicles battery light came on after I hit a pothole. So I waited for 2 hours for the tech tell me "Good News the battery tests came back fine we even tested the Charging system and that came back fine as well" "YAY!" definite good news right?! Since I trusted your technician that all is well, the following day - Sunday - errand day, we ended up with a truck full of groceries, that would not start. As I opened the hood of my truck, I found a Socket Wrench on top of my radiator with a drive socket that does not even fit my battery. So not only did they not find anything wrong with an alternator that was dying out, they left a socket wrench that could have fallen into my engine and killed my family as we were driving home on the Interstate. They failed to determine that my alternator needed to be replaced (paid another mechanic $300.00 to replace) AND they placed the lives of my family in danger by leaving a socket wrench in my engine.

Walking in the door there was a customer yelling at my refrigerator salesman and now I know why. Horrible experience ! I was lied to repeatedly by my salesman Phil, then when the manager Melissa got involved she tried to cover up the lie. When I showed her proof she finally backpedaled and said they made a mistake. BUT they did nothing about it. Both Phil and Melissa were very combative and unprofessional when they were in the wrong. When I called Sears to file a complaint the diverted me right back to the store. I definitely will never go back to that store.

Tried calling the auto center... spent about 10 minutes on hold while twice an employee picked up the phone, only because it was ringing (apparently after being on hold for 6 1/2 minutes it rings again and they have to pick up) and said "Please hold".... sorry Sears, Im not holding for 10 minutes to spend a lot of money on 4 tires....

While, Oscar was a gentleman, Phil (our salesperson) completely lied to about extra costs for the installation of a water heater. This is a complete microcosm of the decline of Sears.

Sears is a far cry from what it once was and you just no longer get the quality and service they were once known for. They are going the way of the dinosaur.
