We recently purchased a newer model Cadillac from the New Port Richey, AutoNation. One of our friends’ relatives works/worked at this location. We considered it a favor to our friend to make a substantial purchase at this dealership. Unfortunately, this decision turned out to be a huge mistake. My fiancé went to the dealership several times before settling on the car model he wanted. He made the dealership aware he was coming in to show me the vehicle and then purchase it same day. Turns out the person in charge of executing the all necessary paperwork left the property mid-day. Obviously we found out later on that this was the reason for the long hold up. The lady behind the desk was incredibly insensitive to this matter and acted as though we were a bother for being there. Finally, we were assisted by the finance manager SEVEN hours after initially arriving at the dealership. He offered us 10 oil changes for no charge because of the excessive wait time we experienced. We accepted and moved on with the car purchase. My fiance recently called to schedule the oil change, they responded that this was not documented and the person who issued it no longer works at the dealership. Even if it was ‘not documented’ on their end, we should not be held accountable for the mistake they made. We would not recommend this dealership to anyone unless a seven hour wait and discourteous and dishonest management staff is what you are searching for.

Yesterday my wife and I had the best experience we have ever had at purchasing a car.We were shopping for a Cadillac SRX and found one on Car-guru.The car was at Auto-nation Cadillac in Port Richey .I filled out the customer information and hit enter on my lap top I barely took my finger off the enter bottom when my cell phone rang.I answered the call and the gentleman on the line was Bruce Pileggi a sales associate from Auto-nation Cadillac.Bruce told me all about the SUV that we were interested in and made arrangements to go and look at it.I sent a Email to Bruce telling him that I had two cars that I wanted to trade in and told him the dollar amount we needed to get the deal done.Not only did he get me what I was asking for but exceeded the trade in value.My wife and I drove up to Auto-nation to close the deal but had a small problem ,the one car I had to trade in was out for registration and had no insurance on it. I called Bruce to tell him of my dilemma,not a problem was his reply I will have my son Chris (a up and coming star in the auto sales industry)ride home with you with a dealer tag and bring the car back.We made it to the dealership met Bruce,Chris and Tom the finance manager,signed the paperwork in less than a hour and drove our 2014 SRX home.Not only are Bruce ,Chris and Tom top notch sales people but they are great people and after all it all about people.Great job thank you all,Tony and Diana Capo

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! What a nightmare. I called twice and spoke with 2 different sale people. I explained I am driving from 2 hours away and dont want to waste my time. I asked about a specific car and if they are willing to negotiate being as it is the end of the month and year. I was told of course, come on in. We would never lose a customer etc. I also stated that 3 different dealerships had offered me the same price to buy my car and I would not take a penny less. After much reassurance I made the 2 hour drive. They offered me thousands less for my car and would not take one penny off the list price of the car. When I got upset and asked about my conversations with the sales people I was ushered into the managers office (Jerry M). When I told him of my conversations all he was interested in was justifying why they would not come down. He stated they had come down a lot in price "for me" because they had already lowered the price over the last 9 weeks. Thats how long the vehicle had been sitting on their lot. If they had just said on the phone we have already lowered it and that is our bottom price I would have saved my self 4 hours in the car. Dont waste your time. Unethical and unprofessional dealership. Cant believe they are still in business. I give them a BIG FAT F!!!!!!!!

I will never buy a car from any autonation dealership again. Bandaid and bullshit, a poor way to do business. Granted I bought used and Im not a high dollar buyer, that should not even an issue! But thats business right? *update: just picked my car up from them, they claim to have fixed the a/c correctly this time. However my oyster colored leather seats now have burn marks in them and a pink substance on the seats. Im fed up, not even complaining to anyone in the store because its pointless. Every time I leave them my car to fix something it comes back worse than before! /update : took it in for an oil change 3 months before due, less than a quart of oil. Ok slow leak. No big deal, right? Ill get it looked at. not even a year after purchase and 3 months after initial oil change the alternator explodes killing the battery with it. After a diagnostic check up on alternator and oil leak, Im advised the cam seals are bad and need to be replaced as well as cooling system reservoir because it has fractured due to heat and isnt holding pressure. I strongly advise against buying a vehicle from these crooks! 120 something point inspection my ass!

I brought my car in for an ignition recall, and I stood unattended and unacknowledged for over 20 minutes. Howie was the only representative that noticed that I had been waiting and overlooked more than once and came to assist me. He was extremely professional, courteous and helpful. He went above and beyond excellent customer service. I felt that my time was valued and I was treated as a customer whose business mattered. As a matter of fact, I had not planned on spending any more money, but as a result of his courtesy, I ended up ordering more parts that I planned on waiting for a while before I ordered them, and I have another appointment on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Howie is definitely an asset to your company.

I was able to help Bruce go over and above in purchasing this vehicle. The South Florida dealership holding this vehicle consistently lied to Bruce and myself about the availability of this vehicle about buyers and deposits, where there was never any deposits for this vehicle. They acted childish and not in the best interest of Auto Nations reputation. I appreciated very much Bruce and the sales team staying after hours to complete the sale of the vehicle. As far as the vehicle condition, it is in great condition over all. There are a few things that were not noticed on the hood of the vehicle because of the darkness outside and a cracked dash I feel the dealer should fix.

After working with Mike and Kevin with a few small problems that were beyond there control they still fixed the problems, got me into a rental car until everything was taken care of. I got a personal EMail from there General Manager and Kevin followed up a few days later. After talkimg to many people in the waiting area I was told that the staff would work with me to get everything taken care of. They were right. The salesman Chris and Bruce stayed till after 10 to make sure the deal was finalised. Thank you to all the staff who helped me and a bigger thank you to the staff members who went above the way to help me and my girlfriend out.
