I went in to have shells put on my mermaid, and a touch up if needed. The artist I booked with was Gabe. The shop came highly recommended and everyone there was cool. No problems there. After my shells were done he started into touching up. What Im unhappy about is that without asking me he completely changed her face. Her eyes dont match now, her nose is different and he also changed her mouth. He only touched up certain parts and to be honest the tattoo was nice and now her face looks awful.Shes not cute like she was. Her hair also looks crazy now. I dont know if this is fixable but if you decide to go here be cautious. I went in confident having read the reviews and came out very disappointed. And the shells are very small and plain, kind of hard to tell what they are. I could totally forgive that but the face is weird now. Not good!

Amazing people and stellar artist!! The atomosphere is so much and the artist are wonderful to talk to. Me and my Husband got several tattoos from Shauncy. And they are perfect. My husband has 18 more months in the AirForce and will retire at 21 years. I have my husbands name tattooed on my ring finger and 4 years later the ink is just as perfect. We wanted to celebrate 5 years together and get my name tattooed on his ring finger. We spoke to one of the artist, really cool guy, and he was more than helpful. This man did an amazing job. And super cool. Come to find out it was "Famous Gabe!" We are so happy and excited about life. Thank you Gabe from the bottom of our hearts. You made our night. We love Hula Moon. Hands down best Tattoo shop!! We love you guys!!!!! With love, The Wards

i suppose these ratings were done by friends of the shop but i can honestly say i will never go there to get another tattoo. they were rude and snickered about the design i got. I once gave my friend a ride there and it took them over an hour to talk to him about an estimate. when they did finally talk to him, they snickered about the design just like mine. honestly hula moon, your not that great of artists to be having attitudes like that. In fact, i would say that no artist should have any discriminations of any designs. period. shape up your attitudes(and faces) and you will get way more buisiness than have now.

I came to Hula Moon for a nasal piercing. Big Daddy Ed (only referred to this way by me thank you) was phenomenal. My nasal piercing was a little difficult due to the elasticity and cartilage in my nostril. However, Big Daddy Ed was very reassuring. He communicated with me through the entire expierence from the sanitation of the materials to the process of poking my nose, to the disposal of the utensils. He was humorous yet professional. He kept my roommate and I entertained during the entire process. I am highly satisfied and will be returning to Hula Moon...again and again...and again! Thank you!

I came in here to schedule an appointment to fix an existing tattoo, and they were able to take me right away! (awesome) I had a really bad experience with a previous tattoo shop, and the result was a terrible tattoo. Jesse was my artist, and he BLEW me away with how he was able to cover my existing crap. It looks soooooo good, beyond my wildest expectations. The shop is really nice and clean, and everyone is super friendly. You will get NO nervous vibes. I will only be going here for tattoos now :D Thanks guys!

The owner may be "famous" but the customer service is terrible. Called to schedule an appointment and had a few questions but was treated like an idiot for asking. I would rather travel to a REAL tattoo parlor than be treated like crap by a bunch of primadonna jerks. Chauncy Fury took 100 dollars from me to draw a custom piece and skipped town with my money 2 years ago. He is an artist there now.

Very well presented classic shop in Pensacola, very lucky to have the talented Shauncey Fury working there now. I have several pieces by him, and look forward to getting more bold, clean work from the man himself. The overall atmosphere is warm and fun, and will only add to your experience. If you go to Hula Moon to get some work done, you wont be disappointed. Keep up the great work guys.

Hula Moon is the place to go. Lovely Lo is my artist. Shes been tattooing me and my husband for a while now, and we LOVE her work. I get more compliments on my tattoo sleeve than anything else. Shes amazing. Everyone there at Hula Moon is incredible. Ed is an awesome piercer. Everyone is so fun. Its a big family there. Super clean. I wouldnt go anywhere else for piercings or tattoos.

I spent almost a year browsing portfolios from all the artists in the area. My search ended here at Hula Moon. The staff and facilities are very professional while also having a perfect "hang out" vibe. Of course, friendly customer service doesnt stay on your skin forever...the quality of work that all the artists are able to create is simply amazing. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Had Shauncey lay down my first tattoo. He did a fantastic and amazing job. I was quite nervous going into the experience about what I might get in terms of realism. He did an excellent job and I cant imagine going anywhere else. The place is immaculate and even smells sterile when you walk in the front door everything is kept extremely clean and it went very smoothly.

The guy on the phone was incredibly rude to me. I was nice and only inquiring about their piercings and he was extremely sarcastic and mean. When I was finished with the call, I hung up extremely upset and not wanting the piercing at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all.

yes yes, Ed is rough around the edges...Im thinking to deter tire kickers. They do take appointments from what I understand.. Dan did mine last night, beautiful and tight lines. Worth the wait and really good!

Girl friend got nose pierced here. I went with here and she said it didnt even hurt. The guy was very clean. constantly getting new gloves and never reused any needles or anything. He was also funny to talk to.
