So, around the end of February my fiance and I 1st stepped their doors. On 1st thought (and I can judge, I have 23 tattoos, each from a different shop - usually in a different city & state. I am a VERY hyper and impatient person but I do understand that 1.) If someone is before you, sit tight. First you discuss the design/what you want - unless of course youre a board picker - shave 10 minutes off. Then placement, color, size and of course, you blabbing about or, in a rare case are even asked about, the meaning and reasoning. Then it has to be drawn up, placed (and replaced and maybe even redrawn and replaced) - then every one has to have a smoke prior to or immediatelly after set up. All of that being said - the 1st tat I got was on my inner forearm. It was of my daughters name and date of birth and the day of her passing (9/28-2/16/10 - sids) the font style, I picked of off dafont webpage, printed and brought in, yet they made me get on their computer, pull it up and press the print button (good to know I have a job there!) This heavy set blonde dude with adolescenr facial scars and features drew it up and sized it, I honestly was praying to the clouds, the random naked sailor chic that this dude was not doing my ink. Absolutely some of the best artist and work Ive seen anywhere around here,. And I mean like gulf Coast area,. Me and my wife had Tattoo fever starting a couple months ago ,but living in Loxley,Alabama doesnt leave you with many places to go, more or less a place that does the quality of work we were looking for now that we are in our 30s and simply getting tatted wont do. But then try and find a place thats not so overpriced its ridiculous, or that doesnt have a shop full of know it all smart assess Oh and try to find one that stays open past dark,lol,..pretty hard to get a tatt when we both work buzy full-time jobs. Thats when we found the sister store to All About Ink,where we have went for the last few, besides our trip to Oahu. Pensacolatattoostudio.,12pm-12am 7 days a week!!They Hustle Hard , Min is the MAN! Courtney is super nice and helpful, And from what I saw from my 5-6 visits in the last 2 months all the artist are Awesome, Jay,Kemo killing it on cover ups. Min did 4 Hour Hamsa hand that is absolutely crazy detailed and super clean lines,and Min is roughly 8-9 hours into an AMAZING back piece that should be done next week with a few more hours. Cant say enough good things about that Shop and the people that work there,totally renewed my love & faith in getting Tattooed.

Im very meticulous with permanent projects like tattoos. I spent a year trying to come up with a tattoo design idea in honor of my wife that really moved me and felt deserving of her. When I finally nailed my idea, I spent an inordinate amount of energy researching the different well known artists in the area (from Hula Moon, Inifinite Ink, etc.), listening to recommendations and then studying the sample designs available. I was struck by how consistently outstanding Mins line work, shading, and attention to detail were on ALL of his designs. I came to him with my idea. The creativity of the design they made perfected my concept, so I went for it. He did not disappoint! He showed outstanding meticulous detail throughout the process, and my wife and I were just floored with the results! My brother-in-law, who is more of a tattoo expert/connoiseur than I am, was also amazed by his work! We are already coming up with a corresponding tattoo idea for my wife. We cannot recommend Min highly enough!

I brought in some pics of what I wanted to get done for the next addition to my sleeve. I wanted part of the picture to double as a cover up. They told me flat out it wont work and I have way to much material to fit where I wanted it to go as well. I have several tattoos, I know how this stuff works. I am not an artist so I bring in pics that touch me and I let the artist give me their rendition of what they see. I usually only get 30% or so drawn on me for the sake of not cramming in detail and that has never failed me yet. I love all my ink except this text I got a while back. Anyhow the dude wouldnt even take a second to offer up any suggestions or alternatives to my pics. I told him I am not set in my mind. The final outcome is up to him and I was still shut down. I am going to keep looking for a true artist that I dont have to get down on my knees for to get some work done.

I had some work done by Chris Rouse, and I am very impressed with the quality of the work and also with his professional, polite, down to earth attitude. He made me feel very relaxed and he worked quickly and efficiently with beautiful results. I am very happy and I will be going back to him from now on for all future tattoos. I would recommend him to anyone looking looking for their first tattoo or looking to build on to what they already have. He did some new tattoos on me and also covered up an existing tattoo that I havent been happy with for years, he listened to my complaints about it and my wishes for the new design I wanted and he gave me exactly what I asked for. I had the most wonderful experience at Pensacola Studio Tattoo. I got two tattoos today with ease and no anxiety. They were so welcoming to me and made me feel like family. They were sure that I would leave happy with the work and it was way beyond what I expected. Min did a cover up and it looks like I was hit with a magic wand. The professionalism exceeds any business Ive been to. I researched and went to other places and there is NO PLACE LIKE THIS PLACE. I WILL be coming back. I cant thank Min and Mike and all the other employees enough for a wonderful experience. Thank you so much and on top of coming back Im bringing some family! I came in tonight looking for a new tat to celebrate my 30th birthday. Jessie was very helpful. He was very professional and gave good advice on how to care for my tattoo. He drew it out very fast and well. It came out much better than the pic i showed him since he jazzed it up a little for me. I was very pleased with his work. He is also an awesome portrait artist. Have pics on his wall that varied from martin luther king to edward scissorhand which was so neat. Nice professional shop with a good vibe to it. Very reasonably priced for such talented artwork. Please visit this shop if you are in the area for an awesome tattoo. They have many artist portfolios available to view for ideas. Thanks Jessie
