Bought my truck from this dive about 3 years ago and got screwed bad. First weekend i bought it i had to replace radiator, rear pads, rotors, e brake pads, map sensor and crankshaft sensor. I bought it on a thursday and tried to call them and kept getting the " hell call u back" line. They finally answered my call on monday said bring in ao so called mechanic can look at it. I went back the following thursday and it died on way they came and picked it up and towed back to there yard so the "mechanic" can look at it. 2 days later i picked it up asked manager about $ i spent to fix it and was told i got it at too good of a deal to get reimbursed. Left their yard and went straight to dealer to have it plugged in to tell me everything wrong wirh it and was told couldnt check it because the junkyard alternator Empire put on it was bad so i had to get new alternator. Long story short i have had to replace ball joints, tie rods, water pump, map and cps, brakes, rotors, ebrake pads, u joints, whole rear end, valve springs and valves, hubs, axleshafts and stubshafts to name a few. I paid 10,500 for my truck put 6500 down thats only reason i didnt return it, i have spent over $10,000 in parts alone and thats with me doing all the labor. Stay away from this place you will get burned.

Bought a 2005 Passat with 105k miles. Drove fine. Carfax had the last three years missing...like the car had been off the grid. But it looked like it had been taken care of...good paint and leather. Took it to my mechanic for an inspection...he recommended changing the drive belt. Also replaced the seals, serpentines and water pump as well. $1100. Fine. My son drove it to Gainesville. Got there and the lower radiator hose failed. Okay...another $164...no problem. Got that fixed. A couple of days later he has no power steering. The battery light and alternator lights are on. Take it back to the mechanic up there...fan clutch assembly disintegrated...totally gone. Another $650. It hasnt even been 3 weeks. So I called Empire. Was told that Charlie would call me back. Called again. Told again that in 5 minutes. Got a call from Caddy who informed me that I could have their mechanic fix it for $50 per hour. I said we havent had it 30 days. Told me sorry...as is no warranty. When we were there they said any problems in 30 days bring it ion and we will work with you to fix the problems. This guy was cut and dry...your problem now. My son is stuck and there is no help. I cannot recommend to anyone to buy from or trust these people. Do so at your own risk!

I bought a cash car from these guys AS IS and a 30 day 50/50 warrenty... ( meaning Ill buy the parts they will provide the labor ) .... They told me the door handle was broken and they were going to fix it that following monday ( this was Sat ) The dealer Jose and the sales person Anthony was nice at first but then after I gave them my money they treated me like crap... My car wouldnt start twice on sunday and that monday I brought the car in they had to fix several problems with my car... Now its jurking very bad and the problem seems to be getting worse. He keeps trying to fix minor things when I know the problem will come out that they sold me a lemon with a bad transmission... See they speak another language i do not understand and I know they know something is wrong with my car... I do not recommend anyone to buy a car from these people. O and may I add the two days of having this car I have already paid $500 extra dollars on parts already and its no where near fixed

My boyfriend bought a car from this place and they screwed us over BIG TIME. We left the dealership from purchasing the car and when we got home and tried to leave again the car wouldnt start... We need to have like $800 work of work done on it before it will be in GOOD running condition. But this dealership sells their cars "AS IS" so there is nothing you can do about it. My boyfriend also signed the paperwork the day he purchased the car under the agreement that his down payment would be $800. The next day when he shows up at the bank to sign papers to finalize the financing, we find out that we need a LARGER down payment... and i didnt mention before that we had gotten $3,000 for our trade in.... so $3,800 down and you need more money for a $10,000 truck???? These people are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would NEVER purchase a vehichle from them again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about how horrible they are.

This place needs to be shut down I bought a truck from these scummy ass people at empire 3 years ago and the showed me a fake ass car fax I just went to purchase another vehicle at Kia and was going to use my truck as trade in and come to find they ran the vin number and it turns out they sold me a truck that was in a major accedent and had frame damage that was not fixable so the truck they sold to me for 13k is worth nothing please take it from me and stay away from this place they will sell you an unsafe vehicle and a vehicle that is worth nothing close to what its worth if its worth anything at all I am getting with a lawyer asap and hopefully putting an end to shady people who take advantage of innocent peoples hard earned money

If you want to get ripped off, go here. Firstly, after i already signed all paper work they call asking for another thousand dollars that the bank didnt approve them for. Secondly, I found a tracker that was (poorly) hooked up to my car. Thirdly, the owners manual wasnt even included so I am stuck here using google trying to find the fuse locations for my car. If you like shady salesmen and overpaying for a used car, then this is your place.

Called about a car and was told that it was in a different location. We went there and it was at the OBT location instead. We get there and they tell us they they sent it to the auction an hour ago but we had called no more than 30 minutes ago. Not going back there, I stepped foot in there one time and I will never come back. Get some better customer service

I had a great experience at Empire Automotive. I had been to 8 dealers prior to my visit to Empire. They sold me the car I wanted for 3000 below Kelley suggested retail and gave 1000 more for my trade than any other dealer offered. They found me financing with an outstanding interest rate. It was worth the trip from Tampa.
