On February 13, 2016 I went to Lexus of North Miami to look at turning in my current lease and making a deal for a new lease. I went back to Lexus to show them loyalty. I had already referred them my brother, my sister, my girlfriend, my sisters boyfriend, my sisters boyfriends brother and his wife, among other friends. In short, after leasing my first Lexus, a lot of people around me were influenced to lease with Lexus. After looking at several different vehicles with the salesman and coming to an agreement on the terms of the lease, I asked him how much they would add if I needed them to take back my current lease. They subsequently raised my monthly payments and raised my out of pocket, this was expected. It was expected because I had driven 6733 miles (29270/22537) more than my original lease agreement stated, so there was additional charges that I was aware of. I would now pay more out of pocket and have a 36 month lease with a higher monthly payment. I would be turning in my 2014 Lexus CT200H and driving a new 2015 Lexus IS200T. On April 12, 2016 I received a bill in the mail from Lexus Financial Services indicating that I owed them $1,801.08 due to excessive milage on my account. The bill also stated that the payment was due on April 25. I promptly called Lexus Financial Services, which was closed, and then called my salesman, Reinaldo Berroa. Reinaldo began to tell me that I was mistaken, that he made no such deal, and that it was impossible for him to make the deal that I thought that we made. I know that it is not impossible since I have seen friends and family make similar deals with Lexus. I spoke with him for a long period of time without resolution. He denied any statement being made that they would cover the negative on my previous lease. He told me that my problem is with Lexus Financial Services. On April 13, I called Lexus Financial Services and they said that there was no possible way that they could or would help me pay any penny less that $1,801.08. They offered me no resolution and told me that if the dealer was supposed to take care of the negative, the dealer would need to pay them. I called Reinaldo and he continued to deny that they are responsible for the payment or that they can help me. He said that I was on my own with this and I should have been more responsible. I continued speaking with Lexus Financial Services. they finally gave me an option to pay over 6 months, and I needed time so that I could figure out how to resolve this. I then called Lexus Customer Care and submitted my case with all relevant details to them. They told me that they will speak with the dealership and resolve the dispute. They told me that how I was treated was unacceptable. Over a week later, they called me to tell me that it appears that it is my problem because they cant contact the dealership. I got no sympathy and was treated worse. I felt as though they know that trying to fight it in court or take any legal action will set me back more than simply paying the $1801.08. I felt completely swindled. Never will go back to this dealer or purchase another Lexus Again.

BE CAREFUL: MONEY WAS STOLEN FROM MY GLOVE COMPARTMENT AT THE LEXUS OF NORTH MIAMI. I LEFT SOME MONEY HIDDEN WHICH IS CHANGE I HAVE ALL MY LIFE LEFT HIDDEN IN CARS TO PAY TOLLS, PARKING, ETC. I HAVE BEEN TO OTHER CAR DEALERS AND NO ONE EVER BEFORE HAD STOLEN IT . I NEVER EXPECTED THAT WHEN I TOOK THE CAR FOR SERVICE AT THE LEXUS OF NORTH MIAMI WHICH SALES EXPENSIVE CARS, SOMEONE OVER THERE WOULD TAKE IT. COME ON!! IT WAS HIDDEN!! THIS MEANS SOMEONE OVER THERE IS ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR THE MONEY TO STEAL IT. I HOPE YOU HAVE CAMERAS, FIND WHO DID IT, AND FIRE THAT PERSON(S), AND THERE IS A POLICE REPORT AGAINST THAT PERSON.. IN THE MEANTIME I AM REPORTING THIS INCIDENT TO THE AUTHORITIES. I AM NOW HAVING HARD TIME BELIEVING ON THE HONESTY OF THE SERVICES. PERHAPS NOT ALL THAT IS CHARGED TO US IS ACTUALLY DONE TO THE CAR. DO YOU GUYS REALIZE THAT STEALING IS A CRIME!!!! In addition : The service is very disorganized. I have been taking my car there for service since the very first service. I bought the car there. The first time I called for an appointment. I had an appointment which included a loaner. Just to obtain the appointment it was a hassle. Long waiting times and then not available dates until a week later. Finally I got an appointment. On appointment day I showed on time. Even with appointment, I had to wait they registered some walk ins which came before I did (so why the appointment). Then I was told no loaner available (so again why reserve one when making the appointment). I had to escalate this and ended up talking to a manager. Finally I got a rental. I left with the loaner and it was padt the promised time and car not ready. It took them 6 hours for the regular maintenance. When I asked them why so long, the answer I received was "because you have a car loaner so no you dont need the car". The second time I went there, I said no to the car loaner and decided to wait there. I went there before they opened and got the first appointment of the day. Time passed and the advisor kept telling me to wait few minutes. Almost five hours later, the car not ready. I ended up having to talk again this time to the person in charge to find out that the car was ready but the mechanic did not communicate with the advisor and therefore the long delay. In other words, in the Lexus of North Miami Service center regardless of appointment, car loaner, beeing the 1st in line, etc, they will always make you wait unreasonable time. They need to change that poor service mentality and realize that one of the criteria customers use to buy the car is what kind of service the customers get afte buying it. I was planning to buy my second car there but now I just decided to go somewhere else. I heard the other Lexus in town provide better quality of customer care.

So I bought a car from them 4 years ago. Not only did they lie about the rate and I was told I could refinance in 6 months once I make my payments on time. Turned out it did not even mean anything. I went back and I was told they never said so. Albert who was the guy to help us out said yes I told them he could get a deal and my sales guy a the time Richard was saying the same thing. Car was 6 years old and I got a payment of 380 a month for 7 years. I purchased the full package for service but its always a hassle to get things from them. Some bald head guy smug looking guy, tall Hispanic guy said they dont give loaners all the time. What? Wait ? I was told I could get a loaner anytime? No only if you spending over 800 dollars. Cool. So I got my paperwork and said you guys should have told me that before I bought this car. So he gave in and was like "Fine heres your loaner. Enjoy the car " I took it and just shook my head. Then I got a nasty call from Frank who called me to scream at me that I always do this and now they out of loaners because of peole like me. So I asked him what he meant. He proceed to to raise his voice and went on like "you always do this. You take our cars and keep it for a day or 2 while you could return it quickly the same day. " I told him that I had a very busy schedule. I work 6 days a wee and only off on Sundays. He said he didnt care and that I would either bring the car tonight after work or I will be charged a daily leasing fee. I returned the car and when I went there my car was closed in their garage. Security had to open the garage and some assistant guy had to drive it to me. So I told their manager Ricardi the story who started interrupting me to tell me how I was wrong. I interrupted his bulky sounding self and told him I was the customer and I demand him to talk to me like an adult. I also reminded him Im not his child or his wife to keep his tone in check. I looked at him straight in the eyes and huffed my chest to calm him down. Then he interrupted me again. I called their customer service department to complain but there was no callback. None. I went back to get my car wash a little after that. The car wash was down for 3 straight Sundays. 3 sundays!!! Im not making any of this up at all. 2 weeks ago I called Frank for my service and I was transferred to him and left messages. No call back. I called last week and there was no answer. Now yesterday I Called back and I was told Frank has been on personal leave for the past couple days. Well I just found out. I cant explain how mad and disappointed I am right now. I am trying to call JM to see if theyre any better. I hope you guys are careful with that dealership.
