The last 3 times I have been in this store the computers have crashed and 2 of these times I have had to leave the store without my purchase, after waiting 10 to 15 minutes for computer systems to come back online. There are hand writable tickets available but due to lack of training employees have no idea how to use them. The one time I was able to get my purchase I had to instruct the employee how to full out a ticket, and show him how to add tax to a total because he had no idea. I have been going to this store since it opened because it is convenient and has most of the stuff I need for projects I am doing, I will be ordering online or buying else where from now on. Last night all I needed was a flash drive thankfully big lots in the same plaza had them but they are $4 more

NSB Happenings
We stopped by Radio Shack in New Smyrna Beach to purchase a cell phone. We were greeted by Lucas and he was a great help with everything. We knew which phone we wanted and thought we would buy it and leave. Had no idea that Radio Shack could activate the phone and switch over with our provider. The only thing we didnt do at the store was download contacts from the other phone. Encountered several problems that we could not figure out, so went back the next day. Fortunately, Lucas was working and he was able to resolve the issue for us in no time. He was a very helpful person who made our lives much easier and we greatly appreciate his exceptional customer service. Best of all, Radio Shack charged the same as the online store of our provider and helped set everything up.

its the people that make the store a great place to shop. fast, friendly and outgoing, theyre always eager to help even if you didnt buy your stuff from them. of course they are best at cellular phone service and activations but they have a great variety of product for such a small store. cordless phones, LCD tvs, ipods, and almost any computer add on you could need. plus more. i have been to other shacks before, but the crew here is always trying to make you feel comfortable about buying the electronics you want and need and at very competitive prices suprizingly.

The Radioshack location on State Road 44 is the store serving the New Smyrna, Edgewater, Oak Hill areas. Als TV on US1 has closed. ATT wireless, Sprint PCS and alot of prepaid phone services are available, not to mention LCD TVs, Blue-Ray DVD, GPS, and some of the latest video games like XBox, PS/3 and Wii. In a small town its nice to have a diverse selection of electronics in one store. Need a cable, they got it. Need a computer, they got it. And lots of stuff in between. The staff is experienced, friendly and knowledgeable too.

Your closing associate tonight was pretty rude. I called at 6:53 and asking what time you guys close. He said at 7:00 and I said okay great I will be there in a few minutes. I got there at 6:59 and he put the closed sign up and slithered through the back door. I even called ahead. Seriously? Customer service at its finest.

Great in a Pinch! On my familys way back on a road trip our power inverters fuse blew and the very friendly gentleman behind the counter quickly located a replacement and even installed it for me. Excellent customer service.
