Glad to see the other reviews here, I thought I was just being sensitive. This is the worst customer service Ive gotten in a while. The young girl at the front (who appears to be someones daughter on a summer job, as she knows nothing and does not care) had a bad attitude towards myself and my father. She was unable to answer simple questions about ordering/service that people at every other bike shop could. When she felt confused, she scrunched up her face and said "what?!" rudely and sarcastically. She also proceeded to ignore us and quizzed people in the back whenever there was a question. Instead of telling me the answer that the guy 30 feet away said, she turned to me and said, "did you hear him? Okay." I came in asking for a specific bike brand, and the girl said "yes, we have them." I said "ok, can you show them to me?" She was unable to simply do this, asking the guys in the back again, who were all busy repairing and couldnt help either. Finally after an awkward 10 minutes a man walks from another building, an older guy who seems to be the owner. Apparently he is her father because he has the same dysfunctional attitude. I ask a bunch of simple questions: is this a hybrid/comfort/pro bike, how many speeds, does it have extra features etc. Instead of answering my questions he told me "you need/dont need this" trying to pressure me into buying things and trying to avoid offering me service and future repairs. He also told me that comfort bikes were for "old people" which is odd considering he has a dozen for sale, and also because he is over 200 lb, unfit, and does not appear to be in the position to judge. I asked if I could test drive, but he said all the bikes have one pedal and the building insurance doesnt cover potential accidents. I am giving them 2 stars only because they had a decent selection of bikes at lower prices. I kind of felt bad for the staff as their general apathy implies that the store is going under financially. But its hard to feel sorry for them, considering they do not employ competent people, and since they are unwilling or unable to answer simple questions. Given that there are 10+ far better bike shops in South Miami, and that people dont want to buy a bike upfront for $400+, their apathy seems misplaced.

I really should have listened to the reviews here, I just thought it couldnt be as bad as people say and still be in business, right? Wrong! When I first walked in I could hear people yelling profanities, not too bad for me, just not to professional. They did answer a couple of my questions about what I was looking for but I felt very rushed and like my business did not matter a bit. I asked to test ride a bike and they said they did not do test rides because then they could not sell it as new... Really? tell that to every other bike store in the country or to any car dealership for that matter. If you have any respect for yourself go to another bike store that acts like it needs some business. Bike shops in Miami are particulary bad at test rides, letting you only go around the block or parking lot while most places around the country let you go on 10+ minutes test rides for miles, but to not let you test ride at all? I could not imagine who would buy a bicycle that cost more than $200 and not test ride it, let alone the $800 bikes I was interested in, I mean does anyone really buy a bike from this place?? What is the point of going here then? You can get any of the bikes they sell for atleast 15% less online and no tax, the only reason to go is for the test ride and customer service, both of which they severly lack. What a joke of a place.

I found the women who work there totally uninterested in helping - too busy eating I think. Theres an old guy who is the bike repair man - hes awesome, old school and knows everything - if you have a question, guaranteed this guy knows the answer. The younger fatter dude also obviously knowledgeable. Sure, its a family business and maybe your family functions better than some but as far as I can tell, theyre no different than any of us. So, cut them some slack. I just got my kid a Christmas bike and they threw in the install of the computer for free - no big deal but I appreciated it. Good selection of products, when I need my bike fixed, I always go there - theyve never messed up on me and I use foul language from time to time - I didnt hear any there but if I had, it wouldnt have bothered me - what kind of glass jawed delicates are you complainers out there ? They have better prices than Mack Cycle, I checked and I like the old school old man who fixes the bikes, hes genuine and knows his onions as they say. My only compaint is - why so fat if you are selling bikes, a healthly lifestyle, maybe they should start riding a bit more - its like a Doctor who smokes - makes you wonder. Doesnt take away from the fact that you get good prices, great selection and my bike is fixed right and on time. I would recommend them to anyone.

Went there to look for a bike and was skeptical at first because of the reviews but their prices were hands the best in Miami and i was more concerned with my wallet then with my feelings. The good news is the only mean people are the obviously other shop owners who are pretending to be offended customers. The people at Cycle Mart were great. I mean they didnt treat me like a child or their own mother but they were in no way rude or anything. They are straight forward people and will tell you the truth weather its what you want to hear or not. It was great doing business with them. ******* Not to mention the fact that i bought a $479 bike ($530 and up everywhere else) at around 4pm on a Saturday and they closed at 7pm but Dino "the owner" said he would "try" to have it ready for that night because I wanted to use it the next morning. Well this "mean old bald guy" was super nice enough to stay till almost 9pm at night just to get my bike ready for me. I thank Dino and all the wonderful people at Cycle Mart. I will certainly be going back again & again! Manny Rodriguez

Avoid this bike shop. Keep looking around. There are many better shops a little further north. Ive visited four bike shops in the area and this was by far the worst. This is an old family business. The current employees are third and fourth generation owners. Dino and the rest of his cronies are rude, disinterested, dishonest, and unknowledgable. I can only guess that the reason this store is around is because of their long history. Im sure the first and maybe even second generation owners did a decent job. The family is now dysfunctional and this store should be left to die its natural death. The current generation can find jobs they like better, and the market place will have room for a fresh and eager business. I also believe the positive reviews here are the owners or their friends. That or they only had a brief encounter when one of them was in a good mood. Its the only explanation I can think of. Do yourself a favor and keep looking around at other shops before you buy a bike or get it serviced. Youll be grateful you did.
