Let me start by saying I have shopped at this Value Pawn for at least 20 years! Never really used their "pawning" service but have bought several game systems, accessories, games, car stereo equipment, tvs, vcrs/dvd players, jewelry and even dvd movies. Pearl ( who is no longer there) used to help me with hard to find gaming accessories for my son. They were even extremely helpful when some items of mine were stolen and turned up there. However today I had an unexpected cost come up that couldnt wait till Tuesday(payday) so I decided to get a "loan" on my brand new still in the box Dell Inspiron notebook w/flip screen & touchscreen. Alexus(young man that waited on us) was superficially pleasant at first, then he started with the interrogation. I understand they need to ask certain questions but he took it too far. Sometimes its not what you say BUT HOW you say it. He asked me why I was pawning it, I said unexpected cost..he ask for what...He asked who I had spoke with that morning...told him I didnt get a name but it was one of the guys....asked me again where I got it and why I was pawning it....gave him same answer. I asked if he would like to see the receipt where I paid for it...he said no not nessecary. He asked me again who I spoke with that morning....then proceeded to reiterate that I just purchased a new notebook, then convienently (his words exactly) a bill popped up and now Im wanting to pawn it. SERIOUSLY??!! I wasnt asking but for $100.....I just paid $400 for it! I didnt want the hassle of returning it and risk them being sold out when I returned Tuesday so I though a "loan" would be the next best thing since I have a back up that I can use till then. He then offers me $55...no I dont think so and gave him a piece of my mind. (respectfully) Also advised I was going to write the BBB. Then he wanted to ask the manager if he could do more...I told him never mind and told the manager that it wasnt about the money but how he made me feel. Like I was lying or doing something wrong even when I could produce the receipt with my name on it from my card! I retrieved my laptap and took my business elsewhere. Never again after doing business with Value Pawn for 20 years will I ever step foot in there again.

Ive been coming here for over 7 years now. The staff is amazing. They create a fun, friendly and entertaining environment. I buy a lot of electronic entertainment from, usually several times a week and I always look forward to going in there and joking around with everyone. They have great prices and it is easy to get along with and even establish long-term friendships with anyone there. I would rate Value Pawn in Leesburg 10 Stars if possible, they are truly a great pawn shop and fun crowd to be around.

I would give them no stars if possible. Do not buy from here. Go get something that is more likely to work, like something that comes with a box and a manufacturers warranty. Pawn shops dont make their money being honest. I learned that after purchasing two tvs and the "protection plans" from this establishment. Take my advice and spend your money somewhere worth while because you truly get what you pay for.

This place doesnt get the kudos it deserves! The assistant manager Brad was great . The others working there were fun loving! We had a fantastic experience from the moment we walked in. We shopped around. Lots of great values and beautiful jewelry. Layaway available. Do you have Christmas shopping to do? Get er done, right here! Five stars in our book.

I honestly wish I could not even give them one star. I waited over 30 minutes for the value pawn worker to tell me that they would only give me 40 cents for open heart silver & diamond earrings from Kays that I paid 150$ for. They want your items to sell at high rates to others but they will not give you barely anything when trying to sell something.

Ive been dealing with this pawn shop for many years and theyre very fair to the price they give you on loans or if youre purchasing something theyll give you great deals customer service was always great when I was dealing with Kim shes a great person ....

Very unfriendly the gal Alexis was short and felt like didnt wanted to deal with me when I ask for price plus they offer for my computer way less then family pawn way less they need to organise and offer a more reasonable price

This pawn shop does not take the precautions to eliminate the trade of STOLEN property. If you purchase items from this store you run the risk of involving yourself with thefted items.

I have been going to this value pawn for many years and the staff are great. They do tend to get extremly busy so you do have to wait a while if there are a lot customers.

This place is a little dirty and the prices arent very good. There are definitely better shops in town to get deals. They just dont seem too interested in the customers.

If I could give no stars I would, they offered me $30 for a $250 product that was slightly used and still in new condition, be smart and take your business elsewhere

Great spot seems reasonable but I dont recommend selling your old jewelry they dont give you close to value. They didnt even offer the weight in gold
