Made a business transaction and Spent 300$ on dual l7 solo subwoofers I thought I was getting a deal on at pawn shop and guns in Staunton . Didnt hook them up before purchasing because the owner guaranteed they worked. Had them hooked up by a professional that has put in a system for me before that worked perfectly fine and also hooked up the touch screen and surround speakers in my car that I have now that has been in there for months working perfectly fine. These subwoofers did work I guess lol but do not perform like they are supposed to at all and the whole inside has clearly been messed with. I took them to both crutchfield and short circuit and both professionals told me I need to get my money back because there is no fixing these. Took them back to him last week to show him and the man that sold them to me actually said he would honor the fact that these didnt work and give me some new ones he had in the back this Tuesday if the guy didnt come back for them. I just called to see if that was still the deal and he says those subs are gone and goes in on me about how the guy who hooked mine up broke them and then tried to tell me he will give me some other ones one day when he gets something trying to put it off. I told him if thats how it is dont worry about it I will not be shopping in your store anymore. And he happily said ok Wanted everyone Im friends with that I would not recommend shopping at (pawn shop and guns) in Staunton. because they do not honor there word Lesson learned

I honestly dont know how these guys stay in business. Beyond the incident recently where they lied about having all the parts for an item I just purchased, I borrowed some money on a bass amp about 6 months ago and, of course they had to plug it in and test it to make sure it worked first. so I went back a month later and picked up the bass amp and they said it didnt have a power cord and that it never had one....needless to say, I had to replace the power cord on my own amp. If you do business with these people be aware that the possibility of getting ripped off or lied to is very good....it seems to be their M.O. I will never do business there again and I will strongly discourage anyone I know from going there either.

Great pawn shop! Just bought speakers from there last week that sound amazing! Ive been buying things from there for at least 5 years now and have never had an issue with anything. The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable and always makes great deals . Ive bought movies, jewelry, tools, a gun , speakers and numerous other items from there and never had a problem! Great shop and great customer service!!

I had to re-write my post. I was upset because I felt like they were trying to rip us off on a power cord for a pedal that we bought from them..... but after searching he found the power cord and was honest enough to contact me to apologize... So, he must have a heart!! Thanks guys for making this situation right!! I apologize for my negative post!!

Some people have a negative conception of Pawn Shops" and after dealing with Pawn&guns I would like to say that these guys treated me right and provided me with what I needed to get me by till pay day, and thankfully kept me from having to go to those Title Loans places! Keep up the Good Work Guys!!
