I came to pick up two medications that were sent over electronically from the urgent care clinic I visited after working a 12hr overnight shift. One an antibiotic and the other a cough suppressant/decongestant. I ask the pharmacist what is my total and he tells me I have to pay $15. Unfortunately I realize I dont have my card with me and let him know i will be back shortly. I come back about 30min later with only $30 cash just in case I need a little extra. This time a very nice female helps me and proceeds to tell me that one of my medications is $15 and that the other, the antibiotic, my insurance did not approve, and it would cost me $65. This catches me by surprise being I was just told by the gentleman 30mins before my total was only $15. Said pharmacist happens to walk out at that moment and I explain to him that his incomplete information has caused me inconvenience and i wish he had been more specific. He says that he was specific by saying my medication not medications were $15. No apology, no compassion. In other words all my fault not his. Dear walgreens your pharmacist could use a lesson in better communications skills with your customers. I believe I will be taking my prescriptions to publix from now on. Sincerely a very tired and sick customer. PS the female was very nice and attentive.

Let me start by saying this is a delightful store. Always a friendly welcome and terrific customer service. However, I do not like when people are dishonest with me. I stopped in to inquire about a flu shot in the fall of 2013. The medical professional on duty assured me it would be completely covered by my Florida Blue Plan and gave me the shot without incident. About 3 months later an invoice came from Walgreens (Corporate). I called the number on the invoice and they said theyd run it through my insurance again - there must have been a mixup. Three months later, another bill. And another. I finally paid the $15 as I dont want any negativity on my credit score, but Ill never use another Walgreens Clinic as long as I live. One strike and youre out when it comes to charging me for something you stated was covered by my extremely common and widely used insurance plan. I caution anyone considering Walgreens for medical care to consider a walk-in or urgent care clinic instead or perhaps CVS. Its flu season once again and Im working on my alternative to Walgreens.

Horrible pharmacy staff and terrible service. Called at 7:30am and asked them to transfer from CVS gave them the phone number and then said yes we can get them and be ready in 3 hours. Fast forward 5 hours pull up in drive through they say no you must have called the call center (b.s. I called you stop lying) and they havent transferred anything yet. They get my info AGAIN and ask for me to wait 2 hours it will be ready. 4 hours later....not ready...and did not receive all the prescriptions. Call other pharmacy they say we sent them. I believe other pharmacy. Worst customer service ever. Worst communication among staff ever. Nothing is organized here. I work in the medical field. This is ridiculous and totally uncalled for. Never again using any Walgreens and will deter others from Walgreens.

Not my normal Walgreens. Very poor service in pharmacy. Needed insulin as numbers were in excess of 1000. Called and told them I was sending someone up to pick up script as I was unable to drive and put on my express pay (which I have used for years) and they said ok. When friend their to pick.up, they refused to run on express pay (did not even try) forcing friend to pay for $150 script. What a let down. Seems this Walgreens is the one I often have issues with versus my normal one. Shakes my head at the poor service I get given the 10s of thousands of dollars I am forced to spend due to no insurance.

Absolute worse service I have ever had from anywhere. They sent me a text to come pick up my prescription, so I came and waited in the car line for an hour. Once I got there they told me it was ready and that it would be another 30 minutes. I waited 30 minutes and got another text that it was ready. So came inside and waited in like for another 30 minutes and they told me it wasnt ready once again and to sit down and itll be ready soon. Now Ive been sitting here for about 20 minutes and I overheard the lady next to me talking on he phone, and the same exact thing happened to her. This is an outrage.

This pharmacy is absolutely awful. They gave my mom the wrong medication when she picked it for me. I take it back, they are out of stock. I had to drive to the Wesley Chapel one to get the correct medication. 3 or 4 months go by and they are giving me the correct medication. Then today, they gave me the wrong medication again! Why is it so hard to be consistent? I took it back and they are out of stock again. All 4 walgreens around are out of stock. So Im screwed out of having my medication when I need it.

This location is convenient, however the store has terrible customer service, and the night manager is rude, unprofessional, and has no respect for authority. Terrible!! Received an email saying my prescription was ready for pick up and when I arrived they said the medication was out of stock she would check other places and call me. Never received a call but received another email the next day saying it was ready for pick up and went to pick it up and they gave me the wrong medication...lol.

The pharmacy is a joke here! Dont waste your time. They are rude, incompetent, and understaffed. Between my boyfriend and I, there has not been one smooth experience. Run away!! And go somewhere that will actually take care of your prescriptions in a timely manner.

I love this Walgreens because I am able to get small groceries when I get off work at midnight and everywhere else is closed. It is convenient to my home. Robert the manager who is usually in at that hour is amazing he always greats us happily.
