Today, I brought my 9 month old brindle German Shepherd Pit into Petco to get his nails trimmed. It was our first time there and we were immediately greeted by a young lady named Carmella who was standing behind the desk. She had a smile on her face and was very warm and welcoming. I was there to only get his nails trimmed and ending up getting him the whole entire spa package. She told me that it would take her about 2 and a half hours to get everything done and that she would call me when he was ready to be picked up. After handing him over to her it was about 10:30. At 11:30, she called me and told me he was ready to be picked up. Not only was she so upbeat and friendly to me over the phone, but she raved about how well behaved he was and gave me all the details right then and there. I didnt even have to ask how he did. She just offered the information up. It truly felt as though she loved him as much as I do. You could hear the passion she had for the job she does in her voice.....which seems so hard to come by nowadays. It seemed as though she wasnt there for just a paycheck but their to care for other peoples animals. She just made my whole entire day. I went to pick him up and she brought him out looking better than Ive ever seen! I could smell how clean he was from 10 feet away. Ive never met a company who does such a great job at grooming a dog. I could not be more pleased!!! I will be back because of the great customer service, quick turn around rate, how well they treated my baby boy. Thank you Petco! You have earned a loyal customer. We will be back soon!!

Rehab

I came in to fill cat litter for a friend, i looked atound for my own outside cat... Hes a poor kitty and loves the Purina Cat Chow that i usually purchase from Dollar General... I bought it from your Store for; Buy one get one for half price... Ok... You tallied the bill before the deduction so i paid tax on the full price: I was looking at the Cat scratch products( podiums) and there were many prices not available So i asked employees, they were helpful. I puchased "Hairball Remedy" gel for cats( Laxatone) Catnip Flavor,* he won "t eat his food. I put a dab on his nose, he walked away and started grooming himself. Ill see how it goes but if he won t eat it, i hope i can reurn it! The store is nice, but there are some issues, i would address... You asked!

NEVER BUY LIVE FISH FROM HERE!!! I bought 10 neons to go in my 50 gallon and, unbenounced to me, THEY WERE VERY SICK!!! They had a hard to treat fungus that wiped out half the stock in my tank. I had to heavily medicate my entire tank it to save the rest of my stock. On top of that, their bettas are always sick with fin rot and I have complained a few times, then come back a week later and they still arent treating the sick fish. THATS CRUEL. Also seen their koi with a fungus on them. I repeat, DO NOT BUY FISH FROM HERE!!

Tired of the freezer being broken 4 times in the past 6 months. This store is no longer dependable for cat food and now neither for small reptile food. This repeat freezer problem is not just a waste in resources, but in all the organisms that gave their lives just to be thrown away because this store simply cannot buy a new (and dependable) freezer. Accidents happen, a second time is an issue, but four times in just a few months - that is unacceptable.

Wow.. Sold me an exotic fish that I found out to be a regular fish here in the lakes that they decided to "rename". When I asked them about it, they said "you shouldve done your homework".. Nice answer after my wife spent $500+ that day on a 50 gallon tank and materials for my birthday.. I even told the worker I dont know anything about fish. I will never return to ANY petco after this experience. Honestly, disgusting human being working the fish area.

I go here regularly to fill my cat litter. Quick and easy, I love not being bothered while I shop. Employees are usually friendly and helpful when I need it. No complaints here.

Store is in an older shopping strip. Plenty of parking. The store itself is clean. The staff was helpful. The shop seemed smaller than I expected it to be.

Nice selection of aquatic livestock, fresh or saltwater. Would still go to a specialty store for live rock and coral. Store is nice, as was the staff.

Fish die after 3 days aftet spending $10 for 2 angel fish what a waste. Dont buy fish there
