Bought a red footed tortoise a month and a half ago from them. Tank our red footed tortoise was atleast maybe 1 year old. We also had a baby tortoise Dozer come in 2 weeks after bought from a reputable breeder. We noticed Tank was having breathing problems and his eyes didnt look healthy while when we first got Dozer he was energetic and exploring. Soon enough after a month Tank seems fine exploring his enclosure. Soon enough we find out Dozer is sick. He couldnt open his eyes and wouldnt eat. We took him to the vet and got medication and they were concerned on how the little guy got to us and where he came from. We explained his from a local reputable breeder and our 1st tortoise was bought at pet supermarket and at first was not active and was sick. We just lost our poor little Dozer today from the sickness. The staff was nice but the quality of what we received was horrible. Selling us a sick tortoise to loose our poor Dozer which was to young to recover. Make sure you listen to people, buy your animals at a reputable breeder, not a pet store that gets their animals caught from the wild and put in bad conditions that they get sick and cause pain for the poor animals and get your other animals sick and throws your money down the drain. You wont see me walking in a pet supermarket again for anything. We thought if we didnt buy a Russian tortoise which is known to be wild caught we would be safe but we were wrong. Dont waist the 100s of dollars we wasted.

This store at Metro West is the worst store we ever visit the employees are passing time and playing with their cellphones no interest in help the costumer people go in and nobody offer to help only when they leave... they ask if we are members of VIP make believed we got our discount and they just laying in our faces. I remember when Pet Supermarket used to be a good store some many people out of work and this guys are fooling around with their jobs is a shame no body cares anymore for good customers service they should fire everyone and get new staff.

A girl busy on her phone found time to chastise us for interacting with the parakeets by yelling across the store that they were sensitive and tonnot handle them. We then proceed to watch her entertain a male customer by chasing the birds around the enclosure herself to show him. Dont get me wrong, we are all experienced bird handlers and dont expect her to know that, but her complete disregard for customers until a handsome guy walked in was pretty humorous. Maybe hire someone not in highschool.

The worse store ever. The manager, Ashley was so rude and so mean. O bought a bird cage there, but my birds fled because the cage was of poor quality even being expensive. When I called the store to get my money back she answered the phone and laughed at my situation. That kind of person never never can work with people or animals. Dont go there!

Best pet store ever! The employees here truly care about animals, pets and their owners!! I can find the best products and at good prices! They also offer low cost vaccination eventually, that saves you money on regular vaccines and even medication! Franklin, the manager, is simply the best! I am so glad I have this store so close to home!

When we first entered the store two girls were standing around. Never greeted us or anything. My toddler spoke to them and they didnt speak back. But then TONI came over and helped us from start to finish. She had only been employed for 2months. Her service was excellent and she was very knowledgeable. Shes the only reason I gave two stars.

They staff is always kind and helpful. Spent a abundance of time educating us and answering my daughters incessant questions about the fish. Admittedly the prices are a little higher for supplies than you could get online, but if you want to keep a brick and mortar business in the community, its worth a couple percent.

The service I recieved from the gentlemen that worked there by the name of Franklin was BEYOND exceptional! I needed to get a refund on some un-needed items and he went out of his way to ensure the situation was taken care of. Also everytime I have gone into this store I have recieved service just the same.

Very friendly staff. Try to avoid on truck days as they leave pallets out on the floor. Not as wide of a selection as some of the bigger stores but worth it for the way they treat the animals.
