If you have a long haired dog I would refrain from bringing them to this salon. At the time, I brought my 4 month old malshi puppy (maltese/shitzu mix) to this pet smart for a puppy trim. My malshi had a very fluffy face, sable in color and resembled a teddy bear. The groomer informed me that they would trim his face, perform a sanitary trim and trim his paws. I gave the suggestions an "okay" and left my puppy to be pampered. When I returned I did not even recognize my puppy!!! The groomer did not "trim" his face, she shaved it! His once brown face, was now white because it was shaven so close to his skin. The area around his nose was shaven so close that it was red. I couldnt believe that she would shave him like that. After this episode, I thought I would never return. But because of the convenience in location, I decided to give pet smart one more shot. This time just for a bath and brush. NO TRIM. I explained in detail what I wanted and when I came in the groomer asked if my malshi was matted. I told her that his legs were a little tangled, but thats all. The groomer informed me that I would have to return another time so they could give him a cut. They claimed the mats were too close to his skin and he would need a short cut. Immediately I told them no and walked out. Instead I bought a dematting rake and chi comb from pets mart to do the task myself. With careful attention, the mats came out just fine! In my opinion, the groomers just wanted to take the easy way out and were too lazy to brush out my puppys fur. If you do choose to bring your pup to this salon please be specific in what you want and expect.

My roommates & I took our dogs & cats to this store for grooming. I saw a woman who is hurting my cats a lot with trimming and shaking them hard. And she gave up with this trimming with cats so she gave it this task to someone else. she made a lot of mistakes with pets... For example, our pets coat is very oily and not clean at all. And their nails are TOO short, nearly to pink nails! And after few hours later, we are walking to grooming office then a same woman was texting in this room and saw us then left to pets room on purpose to avoid us and we waited for like 20 minutes after arrived this store and they gave our pets to us and they are not ready at all. Not clean. Too wet. A lot of shedding. My roommates and I will never go there ever again for this woman. I would NEVER recommend this woman for doing this to pets!!! In my opinion, she needs to go to class again or fire her. Her name is Adrianna I think its her name. (more likely olive skin)

We have always sworn by this location, staff and service but after todays visit we dont plan on returning. We called and set an appointment for just a bath, sanitary trim and teeth brushing. Three hours after we brought our dog in we figured it must be getting close to time for Petsmart to give us a ring so we left our house and headed that way. To our surprise when we got there, our dog still was not done and we decided to just wait. While waiting we noticed many of the groomers were lolly-gaging and joking around the grooming tables (Only 2/4 of them had dogs). One groomer particular had a difficult dog and you could see her frustration coming out in the brushing of the dog. It was almost $70 total for todays visit and I just dont believe it is worth waiting 4 hours for a bath and toothbrushing OUR DOG NEVER RECEIVED THE SANITARY TRIM WE PAID FOR EITHER. Very disappointed.

Now I tell you what, I cant believe they hire some of the most rude people I have ever dealt with. Im not a very knowledgeable man when it comes to pets, but I do know how to treat people with respect. This worker by the name of SHELBY is by far the most despicable excuse for a human being. I asked her a simple question about dog food prices and the difference between 3 brands. She said "IF YOU can afford the most expensive one get it, or just get the cheap one." and stormed away. Now, I can not believe she works in a place where she has to deal with customers on a daily basis. It took everything in me to not chase after her and make a scene. I will be making a complaint to corporate offices. DO NOT SHOP HERE! SHELBY, I know that even if I prayed to the lord almighty Jesus himself to help you, but that demon in your heart is just too strong.

Do not take your dogs here if you love him/her as much as I love mine. When I first walked in to the groomer area the floor was covered in dog hair and was obviously not swept for at least five to ten dog haircuts. The three behind the counter looked as if they hated their jobs. I reluctantly left my dog there and it took them 4 hours to wash and brush my dog? as they were unable to clip his nails. I showed up without a phone call to get my dog whether he was done or not. Oh and I dont want to forget to mention I called to ask 2 hours after dropping him off because thats how long I was told it would take. They said he didnt enjoy his bath which makes no sense because Ive washed my own dog for 7 years and he loves baths. As soon as I say bath he jumps in the tub. Dont take your animals here to be groomed if you want good service!

f you dont want your vet techs to write any notes about your dogs previous visit at this Banfield, this is the place to go! This place didnt even know why our dogs were there! :D Not to mention, they were out of head cones! so after one of my dogs surgery, we had to try on 5 different cones, all which didnt fit. The great customer service cashiers all stood and watched while we struggled & asked for help! If you need a place that is constantly out of important stock, this is the PetsMart for you. Dog has heartworms? Dont worry! When you bring her in for her spinal injection, theyll try to give you heartworm prevention because they have no idea why the dogs are there! :D

I have been using the groomers at this location for 1.5 years for my three poodles and they have always done an excellent job. They have never been nicked or cut and their haircuts always look great. Poodle cuts are not easy, but they always look great. The staff has always been very friendly to talk with. Not sure what happened with the previous posters who did not like the haircuts their dogs got, but Ive found that if you are specific about what you want done the groomers are more than happy to accommodate. Also, if the dogs hair is matted they do have to shave them and you have to sign a form acknowledging that when you drop your pet off.

i did not like what i saw when i walked into the groomers. we were scheduled to get him bathed when i saw the groomer right at the desk put a lead on the "puppy" german shepard and yank pretty hard on it then by the lead yanked the dog back by its neck off the table. it seemed like she was having a bad day and was taking it out on the excited puppy. myself and my wife looked at each other and decided we didnt want our mastiff treated like that and walked right out with no intentions of returning again. we went over to regency where they were more than happy and genuinely animal people.
