The service department here is pretty quick and for a dealer affordable for basic service. But I asked them to replace a headlight bulb which involves taking 3 screws off of the plastic lining in the wheel well then swapping the bulb and they asked for 113.00 with labor at 80 something an hour. So yes a 5.00 light bulb replacement for 113.00 because of the way they designed it so you cannot change it from the engine bay but through the wheel well. They did take care of a factory defect pretty quickly that was causing an annoying squeal. The problem came back and because the car is out of factory warranty, they now want to charge... for the same problem... that was temporarily fixed for a year... due to a known factory defect in the exhaust. So I just ignore the noise and keep the music up so I dont hear it, but at drive-thrus its really noticeable. Then the second issue besides service. I had the rudest service from a sales man. I dont remember his name but I remember him telling me a story about how hes going to sue the crap out of TPC (the golf tournament) because he was hit by a golf cart. Well I was looking at trading my Mazda 6 from the last generation to the current one. I told him I was going to shop around a bit and ended up buying a CX9 from another place in Orlando. They had a manual Mazda 6 (my preferred choice) coming in and he had 5 weeks to follow up with me about it, but he didnt call me at all between then. So by that time I decided to buy the CX9 from Orlando because it was an awesome deal, and when he did follow up a week afterwards, I told him we already purchased. He blew up, calling me ignorant for not giving him a chance to find an option for me. I told him they didnt have a CX9 with the specs I wanted, but I went on to say I was getting promoted at work soon and will be looking at purchasing at beginning of the year, and he said specifically "Youre stupid for not buying through us, you got ripped off. I hope your car breaks down on you and you never come in for service here again". Or something along those lines. So needless to say, I dont want to see this tool again and took my 3 Mazdas to another dealership for servicing, and my car purchase elsewhere. A manager tried to reach out for me and resolve it by email and phone (which is why I gave 3 stars instead of 2), but at this point the damage was done and I wanted nothing to do with this dealership. This is rather unfortunate because the only reason I went to this dealership is because the general manager of the location goes to the same church as my wifes side of the family did and if we still went to that church, he wouldve heard this first hand from me and Im sure that guy would not be working there anymore.

Mine was a most pleasant and positive experience. I worked with Carmine Francese, who was attentive, helpful, knowledgeable and responsive- while never being pushy. Just the balance one hopes for in a professional salesperson :-) Answering my questions- AND discussing the pros and cons of the Mazda vehicles vs. the alternatives I was considering- he was transparent and candid. I appreciated that ! Likewise when I decided to make my purchase- Carmine played no games, and we quickly arrived at a price that was a fair financial deal. Chris Gonzales (finance department) professionally and courteously handled the paperwork, and it was done. Now the owner of a new 2016 Mazda 6 (red Touring model with technology & moon roof/sound packages), I can honestly say I could not be more pleased with the experience. And that coming from a man who is NOT enthusiastic about cars !-) On that final point, the car. Im finding the Mazda 6 to be a delight to drive ! I considered Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and to a lesser extent Kia Optima, Hyundai Sonata, and Volkswagen Passat. All are fine vehicles with a varying matrix of features to offer, but in the end the Mazda 6 hit the sweet spot for me. Stylish, comfortable, responsive (at least as much as a non-turbo i4 can be expected), feature packed, with a good performance/mileage balance (for those interested, go online and read about SKYACTIV) it has a lot to offer. It strikes a nice balance between practical & sporty. My caveats- if a soft, gentle ride is your top priority, this is not your best option. In the price category, consider Toyota Camry. Reliability is still TBD, but history shows Mazda to be just a bit below Honda and Toyota. However, recent data hints that the gap my be disappearing. Stay tuned. For anyone in the market for a family sedan, I recommend you at least consider the Mazda 6. Duval Mazda/Carmine Francese are an excellent option to do so. Ditto if you are considering any car category where Mazda has an offering. Just dont go on Sunday- they are closed. Family time. That, too, tells you something about them :-) Good Luck with your car purchase, whatever you choose ! Sincerely, Andre Ancelin

I am new to the area and was having some issues with my 2009 Mazda 3. I needed a diagnostic on some rough ticking sounds coming from the engine compartment upon start, and I gave Duval Mazda a call. The service center greeted me and promptly sent a technician over to take a test drive in my car for an initial evaluation. When I mentioned that the sound came more often when the temperature was colder, they immediately suggested keeping the car overnight and checking for the sound first thing in the morning when the engine was cold. They gave me a loaner car (!!!) - a sweet fully loaded 2016 Mazda 3 hatchback - and sent me on my way. I was already impressed with them, but they continued to earn my trust by keeping me updated on the status of the car throughout the time it was at the dealership. They made sure to call me with questions and were always open to answering any questions I had. It turns out the sound was a result of typical wear and tear of my belts, but instead of "upselling" me, Torben assured me that it was my decision whether to replace them at this early stage or wait until later when its necessary. The whole process took a couple of days due to my work schedule, and they were very flexible with me (especially keeping their loaner). When it came time to pick up my car, theyd given it a complimentary wash and didnt charge me for the diagnostic. I would recommend this service team to anyone who needs their car looked at, and I will definitely be returning for routine service in the future. Amazing crew and facility.

Absolute worst customer "service" ever experienced... What is the meaning of service?? Purchased a 2014 CX-5 four months ago and after 3 hours on the initial service appointment (which was not scheduled correctly) and a full day of having the vehicle, they couldnt figure out what the issues was.. We waited until the following day (end of day) to finally call and we were told the TRANSMISSION needs to be changed! After the disappointing news, I was told there was nothing else they can do so I called corporate who showed no compassion what so ever.. Talked to the manager and said I was not ok with the transmission being replaced because of possible issues down the road not to mention the value, I was told to get a call back the following Monday that they would see "what other options" we had. We were told corporate didnt open until noon EST come to find out they open at 6 am EST!! Not sure how the dealership is not aware of this.. When the manager finally called me back I was basically told that the car needed to be fixed first before they could do anything else. When I asked for an escalation contact I was given a PO box number and was told it needed to be done in writing.. I get the writing part but PO box?? really? its 2014... Anything to discourage an unhappy customer. Im not sure what will happen at this point because no one seems to be on the same page however I plan on reaching out to the local news because this is absurd.
