Osteen Volvo did a great job in treating us like customers and not a piece of meat. As an existing Volvo owner, when the time came to look for a new car, I thought I would take a look at some of the other vehicles on the market, then check in to see what Volvo had these days. After visiting another dealership that tried every trick in the book, literally straight out of Car salesman 101, we had almost decided to keep the old car for the foreseeable future simply to not have to deal with the car sales pressure cooker. Luckily Osteen was on the way back to the house for us so we decided to just "get it out of the way" and popped in. Right away the atmosphere was different. The salesman "Abe Coggin" simply asked what we wanted to see and what we were looking for. We asked for basic education on a few models that looked like would fit our needs, which he expertly provided. After that it was what looked good and what we wanted to take for a drive. After driving what seemed like everything on the lot, Abe never checked his watch or gave us the "alright lets get down to business" look. He simply let us take our time, educated us and truly made us feel like he had come in to work that day just for us and had nothing else on his plate, even when it was obvious there was a slew of customers constantly coming through the door. The experience and the new line-up convinced us that Volvo is what we should be looking at. Safety is still a very big deal to Volvo and with a young family it was to us as well. The service, atmosphere and the cars sold themselves. Abe listened to all of our feedback, made some suggestions and even arranged for an extended test-drive with just the family and no sales guy in the back seat so we could get a feel for the car as if it was really in our lives. I would highly recommend Osteen, as the atmosphere cant be beat, no slime there. Abe Coggin made us feel like we were the only customers in the world and got us to a point where we knew exactly what we wanted, then he worked to find us the perfect fit. If you are looking for a good car, a great dealership and personalized attention, Abe Coggin and Osteen Volvo are the place to look in Jacksonville!

Updated post: After our initial positive experience in May, we reached out to the new Internet Sales Manager (Ryan Santana) when our local dealer wasnt able to get our order right on a 2018 XC90. OSteen has a better-equipped car than we ordered on their lot, and were able to deliver it to our door (300 miles away) for less than our local dealer. More impressively, everyone we dealt with in the dealership, from Ryan, to "HG" (business manager", to Joe Rhodes (delivery driver) took the "OSteen Way" very seriously. When the car was delivered to us, my wife noticed that the battery cover in the cargo area was warped and didnt fit correctly. Joe immediately owned the problem, called the dealership, and promised a quick fix. That was Monday afternoon. Today (Wednesday), we had the new part in hand, and our XC90 is now perfect. Many dealers would have hemmed and hawed and said thats a Volvo problem, but OSteen made it their problem and gave us a solution. Very rare these days, and very appreciated! ********************** (older post) Very positive experience with the Internet Sales Manager (Rex Graham). We didnt end up buying from him, but he was professional, straightforward and was willing to offer a great deal on an XC90. Highly recommend.

This place is by and large the worst business I have ever had to deal with in my life. I brought my car in to them on a Wednesday and they told me my car would be done on that Friday. They didnt have a loaner car for me so I had to rent a car from enterprise. I called them on Friday (they didnt call me) and they told me it wouldnt be done until Monday. That would have been fine, but then they told me that I could come in Saturday and they would have a loaner car for me. I returned the rental car to enterprise that Saturday and as I was walking out the door they called me and told me they wouldnt have a loaner car for me. I had to re-rent the car until Monday. I call them up today to double check that my car would be done (once again they didnt call me) and they told me it wouldnt be done until Tuesday... I havent even picked up my car yet but I can tell you Im going to inspect every inch of it to make sure they fixed what they said they were going to and I can only hope that they still charge me what they originally quoted me. I would have given them no stars if it would let me...

Absolutely terrible service department. My 2000 V40 had a radiator hose break when I was near it, so I had my car towed over there. The service was pretty fast, Ill give them that. But I definitely feel like $520 was way too much to replace a radiator hose and perform a radiator flush. The part that gets me infuriated is this - I get called at 2pm that the car is ready, it just needs to be washed whichll take about 20 minutes. I let them know Ill be there at 4pm to pick it up. I arrive at four, pay my bill, and I get told they still need to do the wash, itll just be a few minutes. At 4:40, I let them know, listen, I cant wait any longer, I have things to do, just bring out the car as-is. It gets brought out, it clearly hadnt been touched (in terms of being washed, that is). Filthy as ever. Im sorry, but after I spend that kind of money, the last thing in the world I want to do is wait 40+ minutes for a car wash. 1 star.

Getting parts from this parts department is horrendous. I guess since they are the only location even remotely close here in Jacksonville they monopolize it. When I initially called to get part info on a mirror, the "manager" takes my info down and says he would get back to me. Not only does he not get back to me but then passes the buck to his employee to look up the info (who was out for the rest of the day due to a DR appt) I then have to call back the next day to try and get the info I was looking for. Come to find out, she looked up my info but was never given my info to contact me back. The sense of urgency with these people is just not there. This has been this way for the past 7 years and nothing has changed. I could probably order my parts from the smaller dealership over in Daytona and get them faster by the mail delivery service. I will never refer this location to people purely for this reason.

OSteen Volvo have some great people working for them, they are very conscious of customers concerns and feelings before, during, and after a purchase. I have not bought my Volvo XC90 just yet been waiting for a specific 2017 model to appear and my tax returns of course but OSteen Volvo has consistently reached out to me in a non-agressive and professional manner to talk with me about my available options and that when I am ready to buy to give them a call. I have dealt with many many car dealerships and Volvo dealers. I own 3 Volvos currently and you can tell the difference between the good dealers and the bad ones. I would recommend OSteen to anyone and I would say if you read or find complaints against them they consistently reach out to you to try and remedy the situation because sometimes car buying can be a difficult process.
