I would be willing to bet that they did not receive anything close to what you ordered or payed for. My husband sent me a floral arrangement (long distance) for Valentines Day. When he placed the order ONE WEEK in advance of Valentines Day he was told that they no longer had the red vases that accompanied the "Hugs n Kisses" arrangement but a choice of sizes was still available; he could choose the "As Shown", the "Deluxe" or the "Premium" arrangement, he chose the "Deluxe". Now my husband works very hard for his money and he has always tried to do the right thing to please me but when the arrangement arrived it was so skimpy (I could literally count the stems in the planter) that I decided to contact Friendly Florist directly. It was obvious that the woman that I spoke to was not concerned about the amount of money that my husband had spent on this sparse arrangement but rather she wanted to get me off the phone and get on with her business. I described the "air space" between the stems and the inordinate amount of greens that had been used as filler for lack of flowers. She told me that the "Deluxe" picture was really the "As Shown" picture, when I asked if my husband could expect to be reimbursed for the difference she said, "definitely not, we substituted what we thought would be appropriate." I was not impressed at all with her failure to listen to my complaint nor would I recommend this florist to anyone who expects to get what they pay for. Oh, by the way, the flowers stayed fresh for just over one week!

After fainting from sticker shock on 1800flowers, I googled for a local florist and found Friendly Florist - Im several states away so needed to depend on someone else to deliver well wishes to a hospitalized relative. Putting in an order online was very easy (I was done in a few minutes) and when I selected the wrong delivery date and had to call them, the woman I spoke with was very kind and changed the date on the spot. The next day the flowers were delivered to Fort Walton Medical Center and the nurse said they were very pretty (please note that I didnt see the flowers myself but my mom asked about them over the phone). I also received confirmation emails on my order and when it was delivered. So, the service was fast, friendly, and more affordable than the other guy. They were kind so I wanted to give them a good review. I saw some negative reviews about prices but what I paid wasnt exorbitant and in fact was about $30 less than what I was going to send in the sticker shock scenario.

If I could rate this below one star I would. I my fathers funeral service. We spent a lot of time and money to select an arrangement to surround my fathers urn. The flowers delivered did not look at all like what we ordered... Not even the correct color, shape or style. We did call to complain and they sent a "designer" to fix it. Another waste of time. Myself and two sisters were absolutely embarrassed at the appearance of the center of my fathers services. The lack of True concern and ability to do their job is apparently normal for them. I will never order from them again and I will continue to tell everyone I can how bad they are. People dont always see the final results of their order so they need to know these people do shoty cheap arrangements for a lot of money. Stay clear. Allison Futterer. Fort Walton Beach Florida....

Do not be deceived by the pictures on their website. On Valentines, I payed $80 for a bouquet that looked quite lovely on the website to have delivered to my loved one. It arrived looking famished and ghetto. It looked exactly like a Winn-Dixie bouquet priced at $14 . The delivery was prompt. My girlfriend sent me a picture and I was very disappointed in the display. There were less flowers on the actual bouquet than in the picture, and they looked randomly thrown in a vase. I called them to let them know I was not pleased. They told me to bring them in and fix them. So, I should take the flowers away from my girlfriend and have them re-done, and then present them again with an apology? I dont think so. The customer service personnel are rude and condescending.

I am giving them one star because there is no zero star. On my birthday a friend of mine unfortunately called Friendly Florist and ordered a very expensive orchid arraignment as my birthday gift. They had the nerve to cut the orchid steam and stick 3 of them in what would like a very expensive orchid arraignment. You can wonder what happened. FIVE days after I received the wonderful gift, the orchid flowers, the ones still closed was falling off. As the previous victim explained below, do not be deceived by the pictures on their website. Of course I am not calling my friend to let her know the fiasco of her great gift. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Please drive to Destin to buy real flowers from honest people.

My family is originally from Ft. Walton and I have used Friendly Florist for over 35 years. I ordered flowers for Mothers Day for delivery on Friday morning. I made an unexpected trip to surprise my parents and when I saw the arrangement, I was shocked and disappointed. The $65.00 arrangement was no more than 14" high, and consisted of 12 white daisies and three tiny clusters of sweetheart roses in a tiny vase! These people are doing a bait and switch on the flowers that are ordered and they have lost a long standing client with this horrible business practice!!!!

My Mom sent my husband & I flowers for our anniversary. It was supposed to be a surprise (obviously) but they called me in the afternoon saying my address didnt exist?! Well it does. I talked to my mom shortly after and she said that she paid extra for the flowers to be delivered before 1 pm. They didnt arrive until 430pm. I had her call them and get her money back. Instead of calling her and verifying my address they called me and ruined the surprise-and were planning on keeping the extra fee to have them delivered early(which they were not).

My daughter got married on the beach and it was hard to plan a wedding from states away. A relative recommended Friendly Florist to me, so I felt like I could trust her recommendation. My daughter wanted flowers, but also floral halos. We sent photos of exactly what she wanted. They delivered right to our condo and I want to say that i could not have been more pleased when they arrived!!! It was EXACTLY like the picture we had sent. Candi amazing and so patient during all of the planning. I would HIGHLY recommend this florist to anyone!
