went in for the "we will pay your cancelation fee" if you switch to us thing. the lady did not inform us that you had to give your old phone to qualify for that. the phone was worth only 26 dollars so i figured i would keep it. finished the transaction, she stated to keep an eye out for the mail and to bring it in to receive the debit card to pay off the cancelation fee. went in (same lady said) said "cant do anything about it if you didnt turn in your old phone" and didnt do anything about it. It just seemed that she did not care about the customer at all...it seemed she was more concerned on her comission or something. i dont know i feel bad writing negative reviews but this was kind of low. not saying that the whole store is crappy but the middle aged asian lady might not be your best option when you get in there. i forgot her name. try to avoid her if you can. i guess the only thing i can do is keep leaving negative coments and tell everyone i know that verizon has horrible service and maybe I will cost verizon or that particular store business. just avoid her if you can. but if you read this lady....you kind of suck. its peoples money you are screwing with. its not nice. next time someone screwes you over you cant get mad, cause you are the kind of person that screwes people over.

Sales staff leads you to believe that you can upgrade to any phone on "edge plan", then they only let you upgrade to another of the same brand garbage motorola phone (in my case). I was bamboozled. These phones are terrible. The first one got so hot in my pocket that it turned the white case a nice shade of toasted marshmallow. The second "upgraded phone" broke against my keys in my pocket. Manager Jimmy ended conversation with "I have nothing to say to you, you signed the contract and then you broke the phone. Youre responsible for the payments even if your phone doesnt work." in reply to my question of "What should I do here?" This leaves me stranded with no phone. I need my phone to conduct my business. Thanks a lot Verizon. You just lost (another) customer. Im going back to ATT.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. All over a pos protective screen cover they sold us in the process of purchasing a new phone and a Bose Bluetooth speaker a couple weeks ago. The screen protector they sold us as basically indestructible scratched and cracked within 2 weeks with normal use, being carried in a pocket, and without being dropped. All we came in asking for was to swap out the $18 worthless screen protector for a 3 pack of cheapo protectors that cost $15. They basically told us to pound sand. Little Todd was a tremendous douche and almost had a tantrum when one of the other employees said that they could give us the cheap protectors we asked for after Todd argued with us for 10 minutes about it. We will never return to this store.

I must concur with Pauls comments, even if I am a almost 20 year customer, was with AllTel before Verizon bought them out. I have multi phones and a wireless home phone system and internet with them and the female manager at this store treats me and the other people like dirt when I have been in there watching their reactions as I waited in a long line to be waited upon. They have sales people that do NOT know their equipment, how to use them, or a manager that doesnt give a darn. They really do act like used car salespeople trying to slam you into the most expensive item of the month instead of someone that wants to build a long lasting customer relationship. They dont care what you want or what you need, only what they want to sell with a P poor attitude and nasty to boot.

This store locations staff along with Verizon Fios customer service support staff via the phone has turned from helping the customer to now being hassled and bullied and upselling you like a used car saleman. Today, August 15, 2012 my 62 year old mom and 73 year old dad were bullied at this location by the punky store manage who wouldnt help them downgrade a storage plan with thier I-Pad and just last week in Dallas I had a misserable experience over the phone by being pushed to upgrade my set top box to a DVR when I didnt want to and didnt, but the phone experience was misserable. Two thumbs down and probably two lost customers from Fla. and Texas...Im hoping AT&T is somewhat better, but not getting my hopes up.

If I could leave a zero star rating I would! I have NEVER been treated so rudely and disrespectful in my life!!! I have been a loyal customer for years, and after being promised an upgrade on my device by customer service, to replace a device that has had software issues and been replaced 6 times already, the pissant of a manager who wouldnt even look me in the eye, REFUSED to honor what I had been promised. The staff was unpleasant and rude, refusing to even acknowledge me, making me feel inferior while directing a VERY HOMOPHOBIC vibe the entire time I was trying to be waited on. This is a truly disgusting example/representation of the Verizon company!

I was in this morning and Emily Chapka assisted me. She was prompt, knowledgable, professional, and very sweet. I had a problem that could not be solved but she tried anyway, spending more than 30 minutes on the phone with tech support trying to fix my issue. When we realized that the problem was with the used phone I was trying to activate, she offered me an upgrade and her card so she could be of service anytime in the future that I might need her. Shes a keeper and I will definitely go back to her if I need anything.

This store has to be one of the worst retailers in SWFL. The staff is unknowledgeable about Verizon plans and will sell you what ever is in their favor, not the customers. This store absolutely refuses to swap defective equipment they sold. Management in this store goes out of their way to be rude and clearly expresses that they do not care about your problems with their store, employees, and service. This store has one goal - collect your money and send you on your way. Buyer beware - avoid this store at all costs!!!

Everything about verizon customer service stinks...their phone service is the only thing that is decent. Unless you travel alot and need range...I would suggest using another phone company. I just called 3 stores and no one even answered my call at any location. I need to switch my plan down I have too much data and looks like Ill be stuck with a high bill once again because of their inability to satisfy customers needs.

Very customer friendly staff. I was there to discuss switching from my current carrier. And even though I was told that the specialist I had previously spoken to had given me the wrong information, the employee said she would do everything she could to help. she was very informative and spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions. Because of her customer service we will still be switching to Verizon.
