Brut Brutus

Deli management is horrible. I ordered my sub online and when I showed up at the time it was to be ready I still had to wait 20 minutes. In addition, they never seem to have any rotisserie chicken after 5pm, and many times they are out of fried chicken too. Ive shopped at other Publix stores for years and they always prepare for the after 5 rush with chicken. Deli department needs an overhaul! On the positive, the rest of the store is great. The employees in produce always ask if they can help me find anything while they are stocking. The checkout is usually very fast and the front-end staff very courteous. Just fix the deli and I will give it five stars.

Half the time I go there are no wipes for the cart. I tell the man at the customer service counter. When I leave there are still no wipes. Happens at leat one in four visits. Also, sale items are not on shelves and one has to stand in a long line to get a rain check, then they have someone check. Then wait again. Only one person working service counter and lottery. Takes too long to get the rain check. Store is always understaffed. Not like other Publix. In the store again today, 8/8/2017 and no wipes in the north entrance. Had to go to the south to get them. The carts are the dirtiest things you can touch.

You have been warned! Thats what I was told about this stores beef products. I bought an $8 package of ground sirloin. I got it home and 80% of it was grey. Somehow, they concealed the grey matter under a coating of red meat. The sell by date still had 2 days to go! The remaining good beef I cooked and it tasted like low grade hamburger. Some of the locals warned me beforehand but I trusted publics. This is not the 1st time Ive found grey matter in a beef package. They do a very good job hiding it. Now, Ill go up the road further to Winn-Dixie for my groceries.

The Publixs in Edgewater Fl Id always so clean, everyone there is so very nice and helpful. The deli is beautiful, and there always willing to give you a sample of any lunch meat you want. The baggers are always offering to help you to your car, and ask you if you need any help it did you find everything you needed. I highly recommend shopping here.

At 7 pm the deli was a disaster as it is most days. The 3 or 4 chicken tenders look like they had been mauled. There were no sides available either. The person in front of me finished and the clerk just walked away. No offer for help or acknowledgement. She went and started working. I have come to expect no better from this Publix.

I love this Publix, the employees are super! I have been shopping here since they opened and go at least twice a week. Never have I had a bad experience. Any food I get this not up to par, I have no problems returning. I have to say when I go to another Publix, I miss "my" Publix.

The prices at this publix are lower than the two in New Smyrna Beach - of course the sale items are the same, but overall their regular prices are cheaper here.
