The best Food Lion in Columbia. Produce section is a bit limited, so shopping late in the day, you may find a limited selection of some produce. You wont find much organic produce here. This store seems to always have some sort of deal on ice cream. If you live near 5-points, Food Lion is likely your go-to local grocery. One word of warning, being in 5-points you will likely be approached by beggars lingering near the grocery store. They typically arent aggressive, but the are almost always lingering in the parking lot. There is an armed security officer just inside the store, who tries to keep the beggars away from the entrance.

Rent-a-cop WILL make you feel like a criminal. Especially if you have a bag with you--no matter whats in it, they force you to leave it behind their counter. I refuse to take my business there anymore because of their presence and policies.

Easy to shop at. Two African American gentleman were fighting in the parking lot and a young entrepreneur tried to lure me in by selling magazines also in the parking lot. It was pretty lit fam, Id give it 3 stars.

OK store but watch out! While this store does have a rent a cop, Ive had homeless people sneak up behind me during check out (during the DAY) and other crazy stuff happen. Not so safe at night.

Staff is not nearly as friendly as other grocery stores locally and the red meat/steak selections dont always seem to be so great but its a good store for the basics

Terrible customer service... Website says money center is open at 8am, but since you dont have your stuff together you claim the center opens at 9am..
