Do not order from this company! They have no idea what they are doing or where your stuff is! Ordered clothes for my daughter on the 4th and we decided to choose ship to store. Our estimated delivery date was the 10th-15th. So on the 15th, i started to panic because of the horrible reviews. I called and messaged the store and no one could answer my questions other than to tell me that i may have to cancel my order. For one, why was i not notified? For two, why not contact me to tell me what is going on? Why dont you know where my purchased items are? So.. the 16th, i have an order that was ready to be picked up. We ordered two different orders because i was excited about the sale and thought i was getting a deal. So i go in, and the man tells me that he has all of my 2nd order so Im excited. He tries to get me my very late order that was due, but couldnt because not all of the pieces were not there. There were only two shirts at the store. No one can tell me what is going on but that i may need to cancel my order on Friday (today) i asked if i could get the two shirts that did arrive at the store and the man said that i might, but it would be complicated. Why is that my problem? Why cant i get the items that I PAID for? My daughters cheer starts Monday and i am livid. So once i get to the truck bumbed, i notice that i am missing a pair of shorts. I checked my email and it says that the shorts were not ready to be picked up. Why was i notifed that my order was ready then? I waited until today for them to fix this and not one person could. So now, its time for answers and my review. Spend your money somewhere else that actually cares about their customers and knows where your purchased items are. If you do buy from them, get answers. Dont let them talk you into waiting like me.

I have shopped at JCPenneys for 30+years and today I had a completely different experience. At JCP in Daytona Beach today my 13 year old son was followed into a dressing room by a middle aged man. When I came around the corner he was standing in front of my sons fitting room, as I walked up to him I promptly asked if he was an associate, he said he was with asset protection. And he scrambled around with a paper he had and walked out. Minutes later another associate walked up to me and asked me if I needed help, I said yes and continued to explain to her an item I was looking for in the boys department. She then pointed across the way and says if its not there then you can order it online and walked on. What may have been a better thing to do is to walk over look for it or look in the computer to see if the item was in stock and let me know that thats what she was doing. She then was no help. Very strange exchange. First the creepy AP guy lingering outside my sons fitting room then he not so helpful associate. I ended up buying one item then when to another store in the mall and finished my shopping for my son. JCP used to have such wonderful associated, today was a fail on JCP part.

I was in the Daytona Beach JCPenney to pick up an online order. When the cashier opened the box to verify my order I was missing an item. The cashier instantly said she would reimburse me but I wanted that specific item. The cashier huffed and said she would call customer service. After 40 minutes I had gotten nowhere. I told the cashier to just give me my money back so I could be on my way and she had the nerve to say, "I offered you that in the first place". GRRR! Before I left, the cashier told me she thought the replacement order went through. An hour later I received an email that the missing item would be mailed to my home. It sounded like good news until I saw that they charged my credit card for express shipping!!! I wasnt asked if I agreed to this charge. Customer service offered me a $10 GC for my troubles. I will not return so a GC does me no good. JCPenney used to be one of my favorite places to shop.

I was truly amazed that even supervisors in this store are so haughty. I was in the menswear section just the other day to purchase a new suit and a couple shirts. It was as if I was invisible with two clerks and two supervisors straightening stock close by. I cleared my throat, stamped my feet --- I did everything but shout "I need help!" I was treated like royalty at Macys the same day: I told them what I was looking for and two very nice people found selections for me to choose from!

Are you kidding..this place will be out of business in 6 months...back to school tax free weekend people turning around and leaving ....no product..managers not around...buried the racks so you cant even get to what is there.. Told me to try on line ....nice job ill never shop here again. Manager told me thats the way things are now...

Ladies in the womens department were talking to each other and not paying attention the customers. When I asked did they have a particular type of shirt, they gave their rude personal opinion instead of being professional. Thank goodness for the lady in the little girls department.

The phone service from JCP catalog has been great, BUT the phone to the store has been a loss. I to can understand why this store is having problems. Trying to get help from my local store over the phone is just a quandary.

Hard to find open fitting rooms.They were blocked off.Also later in the evening some of the checkout stations were closed andyou had to search for another.
