I am not a frequent shopper, but the few times I have shopped here, I was very dissappointed. I bought two purses from the inverness location and I never used them because of the straps ( I just didnt like the length) so I tried to re-trade them two weeks later and they said they were out of style?? Today I tried to trade in new pants recently purchased. I lost 40 lbs and they dont fit me any more I was informed that all of my clothes had a slight stain on them and were out of style.( This coming from a blonde with a better than me attitude, a 2x to small shirt, and short blue shorts showing off her camel toe) I was so offended and had my daughter with me so I just walked out and cursed her under my breath. My pants were brand new?? I know they did not have ant stains on them.I double checked when I got home. I will never shop here again. or donate they are over priced on a lot of their items.

Going to this place is similar to visiting your grandparents. Its like looking at their 1970s sofa with the thick plastic cover. The sofa looks new but is simply dated and the plastic is noisy and sticks to your skin. Its basically a place you go to infrequently with some trebidation. The management have done well trying to hold events that will bring new customers. New businesses are opening every now and then but it simply isnt enough. All of the anchor stores left and the better popular franchises. If Rural King hadnt moved into the old Sears space it may have closed altogether. Hopefully, it can transform into a hub for small businesses.

Rule King is the only draw left here and the movie theater but its very overpriced for such a poor broken down area and who on earth even shops at Kmart anymore I thought the place went bankrupt 10 years ago most of the mall now is just a boiler room Tellamarkiting center you would think property owners would just lower the rents enough where it would be affordable in such an economically depressed meth infested place like citrus County where small businesses could at least provide some kind of service and have affordable overhead but instead they choose overpriced themselves out of the market and basically leave the place abandon

Sad to say that with the exception of Rural King the rest of the mall seems to be dying. The main restroom was changed to Unisex but there are restrooms at K-Mart for now. That brings us to K-Mart which has announced they will be closing this location soon. Sales are pretty good but they are closing in March? The latest victim is Magic Twist and Cream which closed yesterday for good. I hope some new stores will consider moving there and save the mall from what appears to be closing for good.

This mall has hardly any stores left. There used to be a few good ones but they are all gone. Now K mart and Rural King and an expensive music store are the only stores worth going to IMO. There is a movie theater also over priced. Shoot maybe I shouldnt have even rated 3 stars. I think Rural King deserves them all..and the Asian place in the food court. Other than that....shop online or go to Ocala mall because Crystal River Mall looks like the Zombie Apocalypse from The Walking Dead..

I talked to quite a few of the shop owners as I was leisurely shopping through what few stores were open. The personnel and items I bought were all very nice. There is a very limited amount of businesses still open but progress is being made on updating the mall in bringing in new businesses so theres still hope! I am a private individual and do not represent the group listed on the email above in this review.

Is this a mall or a flea market? Half of the stores are devoted to arts and crafts, while the other half are simply empty. This used to be a fairly decent bustling mall, and now its an empty gloomy shell where the few customers you see seem like ghosts that haunt the premises. Not feeling depressed enough? Is fun not your thing? Come to the Crystal River Mall!

This mall has been on a downward spiral for a long time now. Most of the large anchor stores are gone making it a shell of its former self. Walking around the inside makes me feel sad. So many closed stores and very few shoppers makes you feel like youre walking around in a ghost town. Are shopping malls a thing of the past?

Could be so much more. The mall has unique vendor shops, some with local artists and more. The mall has a theatre and more. It is a shame that a lot of space is no longer occupied. Too bad the locals didnt support the mall better. Trying to save a dollar now they have to drive much further. Ridiculous.

Mall is closed except regal theater. Saw Spider-Man, good movie, good popcorn. Theater needs improvement, is very outdated. One staff member that sells tickets, takes them and guides you to the theater. Was a long wait to get in. Seats were very tight together and no leg room on any of the rows.

Well priced. Name brand items in good or mint condition. Interesting vibe in the store. Cool decorations. Good customer service. Good selection. Music always playing in the store which is a nice plus. Clean changing rooms available. Just an over all great store I will keep shopping there.

Not much to draw you in here at the mall itself. The only thing that makes this mall worth the drive right now is Rural King and Seafood Market. Rural King has all your basic farm needs, and the seafood market has awesome Cajun food (best jumbalaya, gumbo, and crawfish around, hands down).

The mall is a ghost town. The traffic flow is poorly managed, the landscaping is dying, and the only anchor store left is a rural king. The open/close schedule makes the restaurant and movie theater harder to access. Go for a movie or to Seafood Sellers, but dont expect pleasant shopping.

It is a nice place, with a unique architecture, and an artists center, but is going to close, and the movie theater is hard to find and even harder to sit in. But they have a display I havent seen before: the MIA white table, at the Armed Forces Recruiting Station (see pics). Very classy.

This place is old and smells bad. They have tried desperately to keep this thing going but at this point nothing will help. They honestly just need to bulldoze it and start over with something that doesnt look like it is out of the 70s. It just is not what you would call an actual mall.

The only two decent stores are 1. Rural king and 2. Labels store. The circus tent mall is pretty much going to hell in a handbasket. I remember back in the day, this place was once so full of life. Now it looks like the mall in silent hill 3.

The mall is pretty empty right now. The pizza in the food court is fantastic though! I live in South Carolina and every time im in Crystal River i get a slice because it is my favorite! Clean bathrooms, nice little theater, friendly people.
