Hyde Park Village holds a monthly farmers market the FIRST Sunday of every month. Be careful to mark your calendar because it comes up more quickly than you think! The booths are unique and some even entertaining, but all wanting and yearning to share information and samples of their products. Some of the favorites are the grilled cheese food truck, which I still havent had the pleasure of trying due to the hour-long line! I always try to begin there;however, too many things distract me and I forget to keep moving from back to front! You might think there are your typical jewelry booths, but they are far from typical. They have a large organic section, fresh fruits and veggies, many types of pet treats and if you get there early, you might be lucky to grab an adjustable Gator-Seminole-Rays or your favorite team adjustable scarf for your beloved family pet! I have yet to get a Gator one! The farmers market is pet-friendly, with water bowls along the route. The homemade bread booth has delicious bread stuffed with delicious combinations of sweet and savory ingredients for minuet prices. Another favorite is the kettle corn being made while you wait to purchase its hot sweet sticky goodness. There is a great deal of talent at this market and I highly suggest you take a reusable bag,, get into the car, and the first Sunday in May, head to Hyde Park Village. Park in the parking garage, and head into a different place, to try new things, and purchase a variety of new and exciting temptations.

Not what it use to be in its heyday but I think it is definitely making a comeback and certainly many strides in the right direction. So stay tuned. Many new shops are opening and coming back to a really great outdoor venue for retail and restaurants. In the upcoming months there will crtainly be more shops and restaurants opening so you may want to continue to check the vibe out. Its a great place to take a short stroll and grab a bite to eat at one of the local restaurant cafes. There is plenty of out door seating and after brunch/lunch yo can also get some shopping done.

This is one of Tampas gems.....a small, quaint, walkable village in the heart of the historic Hyde Park neighborhood. Upscale shops (Tampas only Pottery Barn and Brook Bros.), a variety of delicious restaurants, and first-run movie theatre surround a tree canopied park with bubbling fountain. Great for families, date night, strolling. Its a throw-back to another era when life was simpler.Complimentary parking in two multi-story garages is available. Why did we ever think that boring, ugly, ubiquitous strip malls were better than this?

Rich with History Literally and figuratively. Once forgotten and overlooked, Hyde Park has been resurrected and the Village is thriving. Families, singles and mix from all ages dining, walking and enjoying one of the best spots in Tampa for casual urban experience. Catch a movie at the upscale Cine bistro or relax with a pint at Irish 31. Bar Taco for that Mexican craving and hit a spin class at LA Fitness to burn it off. Hyde Park is definitely one of the true gems of Tampa. Plenty of Parking and urban attractions. Must see

Hyde Park has become a great high-end shopping area of Tampa (not as nice as Winter Park but theyre trying). A few years ago it was getting scary - lots of empty shops. Now with all the renovations (still underway) and new shops it will be even better! I love Blue Moon for its one of a kind design finds. And BarTaco is a must! Parking is everywhere - garage parking that is - but its ample. Finding a curb side spot is nearly impossible.

Fun & beautiful location for a walk, a meal, or shopping. Monthly open markets are vibrant--full of vegan, gluten-free, and allergen-sensitive foods, as well as plants, soaps, accessories & more. Under construction right now (summer 2017), so come early to find parking & dont count on maps to guide you--you may have to drive around rather than being able to drive through.

There are seasonal events that are awesome like the Halloween events, the Chalk Walk, and 1st Sunday Farmers Market. Occasionally there are open air concerts and chefs banquets and for all that it is a great place to be. We just got Bar Taco and Buddy Brew is coming. This area has really turned around with new ownership.

The quaint shops, variety of restaurants and generally a beautiful square. I especially enjoy going on the weekends as there is a farmers market with a variety of vendors, from locally grown fruits and vegetables, fresh baked breads and baked goods to hand rolled cigars or art and jewelry.

This place has gotten a very nice and much needed resurgence in businesses and restaurants and Im glad to see it thriving again. It will be so nice when all of the road construction is done but in the mean time I am enjoying all it has to offer.

If you are visiting or a local, this area is a great place to go for dinner or lunch as there are many options. Great bars are there too and during Christmas they have childrens activities and the same goes during Halloween.

I had not been here in about 10 years but it looks as if life is being put back into this historic area of Tampa, lots of construction and new restaurants. After construction is complete i would give 5 stars!

I love Hyde Park. All different shops and restaurants. Park in the parking structure and just walk around. They have a lot of construction going on lately so you cant actually drive down the road.

I love walking through the village and the neighborhoods. Its disappointing the shops and restaurants havent brought in the crowds like it used to. It used to be a happening place.

A super family friendly place. There were many small stores and shops, and areas where you could sit down and maybe have a conversation. Definitely a nice place to visit
