Dear City Furniture representative, I feel very frustrated and cheated by your company because of your companys refusal to properly honor the extended warranty on a defective sofa. I haven been waiting considerable time for a resolution and have only been offered partial relief. The parts sent to replace the broken springs only fixed the issue on one cushion and not the remaining 3 pieces. At this point, almost every cushion has a broken spring. I, along with my family, have been a City Furniture customer for over 15 years. Both my daughters have purchased sofas from your company and they have had no issues. The particular style that I purchased has been discontinued and I am certain it is due to the quality. I know City Furniture would not intentionally sell bad merchandise considering their longstanding reputation in the industry. I would like to see how I can receive a credit for a replacement sofa as the one I have is clearly defective. It is unacceptable for me to continue to make payments on a sofa that is defective and has not received even a scheduled repair despite the fact that I purchased the extended warranty. I will be glad to provide a representative (again) with evidence. My initial complaint was submitted in June of 2016, I followed up in October after I finally received a response and was told that the replacement pieces would not arrive until February 2017. The sofa was purchased in December of 2015. I should not have experienced these issues within 6 months of purchase. This was a brand new sofa! I immediately contacted City Furniture about the defective product. I was hopeful that we would have reached a resolution by now due to fact that I had purchased the extended warranty. I was told by a sales representative that my particular model had been discontinued. I want a store credit for the full cost of the sofa so I can replace it. This is a reasonable request since the item is discontinued. I am deeply disappointed in the way that City Furniture has handled the situation thus far. How can I, as a loyal customer, continue to purchase or recommend City Furniture products when City Furniture doesnt honor its warranties and products? Please provide me with a phone number or email address of someone that can help expedite a solution. I am tired of the runaround. I look forward to hearing from you shortly. Sincerely, Maritza Kawajigashi

I cant believe how poorly I was just treated from this company, especially after all of the money I have spent with them. I never wouldve thought I would end up getting screwed over by these con artists. They have amazing service inside the store, of course, when they are working you up to swipe your card for ten thousand dollars, but everything after that is God awful. I spent tons of money with them, and even planned on going back this upcoming week to buy a dining room table and an entertainment stand due to me moving this past week, that was until I began the moving process. Once I started getting ready to move, and got to the part where all furniture needed to be dismantled, I realized that the delivery crew(due to being rushed and harassed by their supervisor, calling and yelling at them several times to hurry up in the brief time they were at my residence assembling the furniture) completely rigged my bed set together in a way that it destroyed the integrity of the wood and made it physically impossible to be taken apart without completely breaking the wood in half. So I called up and politely asked for help or some kind of assistance in them resolving this mess that their assembly crew created and destroying my furniture that I bought with my very hard earned money. They were very quick at this point to tell me that since I tried to disassemble the furniture that they were not going to help me whatsoever, which is completely ludicrous due to the fact that all of the damage was done internally and wouldve been IMPOSSIBLE to spot the damage in any way other then trying to take it apart. So they obviously knew that I wouldnt discover the damage until I tried to move and then at that point, they knew that since I tried to move, they would no longer be responsible for the damage at that point. Pretty brilliant con artists if you ask me. As a very successful marketer and owner of a large marketing company, which single handedly has made several companies millions and millions of dollars due to our huge network and powerful SEO and internet data analyst team, I will make sure that if anybody even goes to type in the word City Furniture, the first thing that they will see is how much of a scam it really is and will stay far far away. Extremely disappointed as I was very happy with the in store service and thought I had found the place that would cater my furniture needs from here on out.

I recently made my first, and possibly last, purchase from City Furniture. I ordered a sofa and 3 pieces of bedroom furniture. The sofa was delivered in perfect condition, no complaints. However, the bedroom furniture is a totally different story, with 2 of the 3 pieces arriving damaged. One piece just requires a paint touch up, which I am ok with as long as someone contacts me to do it. The other piece came with a piece of the finish cracked off on one of the legs and, once noticed, the delivery person attempted to glue it back together. I was not home at the time, and if I was, I would have not accepted it and insisted it be returned and replaced. My husband, however, did not realize that was an option and immediately called customer service to report the problem as the driver told him to do. Upon further inspection of the piece we both decided we wanted to return it as the cracked foot was not the only problem. The piece was poorly constructed and looked cheap. Both my husband and I went into the store the following day to see what can be done to get this problem resolved. The sales associate who sold us the furniture was there and noted the problems in the system but said she could not do anything, and gave us the information how to file an online claim with quality control, which we did, along with all of the pictures that were requested to document the damage. It has now been 3 business days and no one has contacted me, even though the confirmation said I would be contacted within 24 hours. I will try one more phone call to customer service tomorrow to get this resolved, but after that my next contact will be the better business bureau. This is no way to treat customers! And its not is a question of "you get what you pay for" - I have bought furniture many times from Rooms to Go, which has a similar price point, and have never had issues. Any necessary repairs, replacements or touch ups were done promptly and professionally.
