In the beginning of 2014 I made up my mind it was time to replace my 1997 Chrysler Town & Country LXI. It only had 89,000 miles on it but it was beginning to “nickle & dime me to death”. I knew I wanted a used car and pretty much exactly what I wanted so I started my search. It was both a physical thing and on the internet. I wanted another Chrysler, of recent vintage, low mileage, pristine condition, low asking price and it had to be white. (I live in Florida and white does much better in Florida). Mostly I used Auto Trader but occasionally I would just google search. I visited all the Chrysler dealers around me and talked with their sales people. I didn’t impress anybody but then I wasn’t out to impress anybody. I was out to learn and find a salesperson I might trust. While this was going on a friend told me that she had just bought a Toyota. Now I have had two Toyotas and loved them but from the look on her face I knew she was not happy. So, I asked her what her problem was. She explained she didn’t think she wanted the car she had agreed to. I explained to her that if she had not put down a deposit she had no worries she could just cancel. I’d feel better if I explained that we are both female and in our eighties. So now she still wanted a Toyota so I volunteered to take her to the Toyota place locally that was doing all the advertising. She agreed and I called them. I explained what we wanted, made an appointment to see the salesman and drove over there, (40 minutes), to arrive exactly on the appointed hour. He was not there. We waited and an hour later he showed up saying he had to send some money to his daughter. Let me take a second here to tell you if you are in sales and you have a potential customer coming, you break your neck to be on time. So this showed a total lack of caring which translates to among other things, bad followup care. But we moved on. Now he had no idea where the car was he was going to show her. Remember he knew what we were there for. Half an hour later he found the car, (the lot there is huge), and took her for a ride. They came back and he brought her in to me and we sat and waited. We waited and waited and were surprised to find out that this particular agency does not let their sales agents close the deal. I already knew to run when the manager headed my way but in this case no one came. We just waited. We waited more than half an hour. In that time two customers left in disgust. Finally we left too. And did they chase us out of the parking lot telling us they were ready with a deal? Yes. But we were decidedly uninterested. I took her to the Buick dealer in town and she bought a Buick. So, on the heels of all this, I was thrilled to find exactly what I was looking for, for myself, a week later. I had started looking in April and this was now October 29th. It was being advertised by Tom Edwards in Bartow, fl. And I called to make sure they still had it. I walked In to Stuart’s office and said, “I’ve come to buy a car and this is the one”. There was no desire on my part to dicker, and in fact they generally don’t seem to want to do that. But the car was exactly what I wanted so it didn’t matter. I borrowed the car and took it to my mechanic who was so amazed he not only told me it was a good deal, but asked me to research one for his wife. I took it back and signed the papers. I was offered a lifetime guarantee and, after doing some more research, decided it was a good deal all the way around because today’s cars are nothing but computers and this will cover all that. The people at Tom Edwards are extremely courteous and caring. I’ve been back now twice and am always treated like a fairy princess. I wont live long enough to buy another car but I am sure my daughter will enjoy dealing with these people when I am no longer here. They are tremendously good caring people.

Right from the first contact I knew this was the place I wanted to buy a vehicle from. I looked on the internet and found 2 vehicles I was looking for at this dealership. I called the dealership and Brian answered the phone he was very polite and helpful. The next day we jumped in our old car and drove to Bartow. ( 2 hours away ) I was ready to wheel and deal. Brian met me at the door with a welcome smile and a handshake. He noticed that I was a veteran and immediately thanked me for my service. After the test drive we determined we had found the vehicle we wanted. Brian went and got the out the door price. ( I was thinking here goes all the pumped up charges added to the price.) He passed me the paper and I was blown away. Their was no pumped up price, the dealership charges were lower then I had ever seen. I had nothing I could do but agree with the price. I arrived later in the afternoon and buy the time we had decided and got down to paying. Our bank was closed so we were unable to call them. Our card was declined due to the amount. ( dang amount caps) We decided to we would pay what we could with the card and come back the next day to get it. Once again I was blown away when they offered to deliver the vehicle to my door so I wouldnt have to drive all the way back. ( remember the 2 hours ? ) These people are the best. If you are thinking of going to another dealership for your vehicle, DONT. These people were awesome. We will be going back in the fall to find my sister a vehicle. Thank you so much guys for making our dreams come true.

I have to say that this was one of the best car buying experiences I have had, to the point where I live in Pinellas County and would travel the hour and a half back for my next Jeep purchase. I had been shopping for a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk for some time and after searching the internet was able to find one with the features I wanted at Tom Edwards. After reading other reviews on Google, Yelp and Facebook (yes, I over-research things), I contacted Brian Fishburne, who proved to be as personal and professional (and even more patient) as all the reviews stated. Their advertised price on the Trailhawk was EXACTLY what was quoted on the phone. They disclosed everything and there were no hidden fees on the buyers order. The fact their dealer fee is what it is was YUGE! (Ive paid double or more in the past). When I got to the dealership Brian met me and took the time to let me examine the vehicle (I am very ANAL about things). Any concern I had with the vehicle was addressed and Brian and the service team took care of everything IMMEDIATELY. Then there is Bob, the finance guy, who was just another excellent member of the team. I had applied for pre-approval and he also had everything available and made calls to ensure I got the best rate ANYWHERE! The whole process from start to finish was only a couple of hours and would have been MUCH quicker if not for me. When I arrived at home my wife LOVED the Trailhawk. When I told her of my positive experience she said be sure you let people know. Thank you Brian and thank you Bob for all you did!
