Kind of funny how many people on here complain about the prices. No, this is not budget furniture. This is not cheap furniture. The vast majority of these pieces are made by woodworkers and talented craftsman, in America. Now Im not on this kick where something made in America means its better than if made somewhere else, but Id be lying if I said it didnt make me happier to know that some of my money was going to American businesses and workers. If you want "cool" furniture, maybe modern or whatever and you want to buy it online, great. Itll be cheaper. Itll be cool. It may be made half decently (it may be crap). It wont be made as well and it wont last as long. It wont be made in the US by craftsman. That all said, the quality is among the best Ive seen at a large format, multi-focus furniture retailer. Think about it, where else can you go and buy a couch, dining room table, office chair and bar cart (and everything in between) and have all/most of them built in the US, kick*ss quality, great design and delivered to you with the best white glove delivery Ive ever experienced? Lets talk about that for a minute. You know the story... My wife and I were remodeling part of our house, the contractor said it would take 12 weeks. Room & Board said 8-12 weeks for deliver (because they often make the furniture to order) so we figured, perfect... Silly, amateurish us. The job of course took about 35 weeks and so we had to have the ware house and delivery team hold onto our furniture for an additional 20 weeks or more. There was never one gripe, only pleasantries. They checked in every 6 weeks or so. When we were finally ready to accept delivery we scheduled, it came on time, they wore footies and gloves, literally, and delivered, unboxed, explained how to use everything, gave some insider tips on a few operational and cleansing related things, cleaned everything up and were out. It was perfect. Ive only ever had one other customer service experience as good as this (GE Monogram). Extremely pleased overall.

The store is very well laid out and the staff is very nice, when you are looking to purchase some of their expensive furniture. Supposedly because they are not on commission.. However, that changes once you have already paid thousands of dollars and trying to get your furniture delivered. My wife and I decided to buy two couches totalling over $5k because we really liked their design and thought we would check out their quality. After waiting 8 weeks for the couches to arrive to their store i received an emailed saying it would take 18 days to deliver from their store. I emailed them promptly because I was told 6 to 10 day delivery. The customer service replied and they fixed the delivery date and received a confirmation via email. Im waiting on the delivery date and realized I hadnt heard from them so I called their store and instead of getting an apology and help all I was told was "youll have to call on Monday". When I asked if I could forward the email for the sales rep to see, they were not interested and acted as if I was bothering them and repeated the statement "youll have to call on Monday and talk to the same person". I gave the poor rating purely based on such this change in attitude towards customer service. I dont care how nice their furniture may (or may not) be, we will never buy from here again. I would hope a store where I spend this kind of money would at least try to remedy their mistake.

This store has a wide selection of some very good looking furniture at fairly high prices. The quality is high so you get what you pay for I guess. I just moved from a studio to a one bedroom and decided to add two chairs to my living room. I wanted something like leather club chairs that I saw for $500 in my hometown but instead I kept to my budget and got two fabric chairs with ottomans for $1600. Their web site gives each piece with a price range, but the price you pay in the store is not the lowest price on their website. I am pretty sure I did not get a deal but I hope they last me for many many years and they are very comfortable for sitting and great in my living room.

The only competent sales person at this store was Louine Wailes. My gf and I came in looking for a specific bed and the only person that was able to help us without an attitude was Louine. We were ready to buy the bed walking into the door, but just had a few questions before we made our final purchase. We tried to get help from one lady who gave us attitude when she didnt know her own products. Room & Board - you should probably give a great thanks to Louine because we were about to never purchase from your store ever again.

Had a great experience buying a couch here this weekend! My husband and I already had narrowed down our choices online but wanted to see the items in person. The sales associate helped us compare fabrics and size to decide what would best fit in our apartment. The associate helped us make some custom design options and we are so excited to have this delivered next month! Would definitely recommend if you want an easy friendly furniture shopping experience.

If you are looking for modern looking furniture with style and nice designs this place is really nice. The staff is helpfull and can guide you with what fits well with your house design. The prices are quiet high but the furniture deserves that prices , dont get shocked when you see high prices!.”

I love R&B because of the great parties they throw on the rooftop. It is worthwhile to get on their mailing list to attend events to preview their new seasonal furniture and fabric offerings. The view cannot be beat!

Beautiful store and helpful staff. Had the pleasure of working with Lauren, who helped set up samples and fabrics to get a better feel for items before purchasing. Not pushy at all which makes shopping more enjoyable.

We went for an event that room and board rented space out for. It is a beautiful area with roof access and lots of open spaces. Its such a good idea for them to rent their space out, it was very nice.

Well made furniture. Very overpriced. Not sure how anyone could call this "reasonably priced". Possible to buy similar mid century/modern furniture for under online. A sofa here is $2000-$4000.
