The owner and the Manager at this location need to take their customers concern more seriously and attentively. We moved to VA and have purchased a set of sofa and loveseat from this Value city furniture location, Woodbridge, VA. And because it looks nice in the show room. However, after 2 weeks the wood on the sofa cracked and the cushion went dead flat on us. We were told by the sales man (he was nice) that this set would be guaranteed for the its lifetime and no matter what happened they will fix it or replaced it. Therefore, after 2 weeks we contacted this location and after 1 month, they sent out a service man. He told us he will submit our complaint and have the cushion replaced for us. Two months passed by, we did not hear anything from them and we have contacted them on numerous occasions. We got tired so after 6 months we contacted the customer service through chat about the issue. Again, we were promised that they will rcontact the store and have this issue resolved. Well ladies and gentlmen of the consumers, it has been over 3 years and nothing has resolved. We paid it off because we are good consumers and did not want our credit to be ruin for nonpayment, but we have not recommend this place to any of our friends or family members. If business company like Value city Furniture dont care and overlooked the consumers complaints, then eventually the truth will revealed on the social media and they will lose their business. I hope they will make an effort to contact us or the social media is where I will moving forward to let the consumers know about their unethical practice. Not only the quality of their products are poor but the customers service at this location is in need of a change. Needless to mention, we have been shopping at other furniture stores and have been extremely happy with the quality of their products and promises. Do not shop at Value City furniture unless poor quality furnitures is what you want.

I admit that writing this review will seem like an employee might be trying to up the rating of his store, but I promise you I am not that person. I was in the market for bedroom furniture for a spare bedroom in my house that was empty. So I did not need the furniture but could add furniture for guests to use such as family and friends. So that being said, I was not "hurting" to fill a need. My quest started with the other furniture stores in the Woodbridge, VA area. As anyone knows, this is stressful for shopping as it gets. Until I walked into to VCF, the game had changed. Started off meeting "no pressure" Lonyetta aka Lonnie. I was pleased to have the right level of attention and the professional attitude of "lets find the right set for your vision". We surveyed the entire store, found what fit my needs and closed the deal with the best price to quality that I have seen in a long time. Lonnie locked everything in from payment to delivery. Walked out with a smile and promise. Next came the dreaded delivery.. I do not like Northern Virginia time windows for delivery. Normally you are handed a 4-6 hour window of time where you ca not plan the rest of your day. I was given a time window of two (2) hours. My window was 12 - 2 pm. The truck showed at 1202 pm. Another smile.. Straight to work the delivery personnel were.. We had a little paint rub in the hallway, but nothing a little paint could not fix.. The setup was done, handed the workers a water each and they were on there way to the next delivery. I would recommend VCF of Woodbridge, VA. If they could bottle the experience I had with my purchase and sell it to the rest of Northern Virginia, they will be the Gold Standard in Customer Service. VCF of Woodbridge.. Please maintain this level of training and professional development. It was a breath of fresh air.

I only have one word to describe this Valuecity store - terrible. I bought a rather expensive bed set from them and when they delivered the bed it apparently was missing one major piece and another piece was chipped. Their customer service representative Kiara was handling our case and she did a horrible job communicating. First of all she promised to call us after the delivery truck was back to give us information on the next steps but she never did. When I called them myself I was kicked from one person to another (and of course I had to tell everyone my back story over and over again) and finally, when I reached Kiara ,she was extremely rude as she was screaming at me and ended up hanging up on me saying "Sir, I had enough of you Im now terminating this call". I asked her to put her manager on the phone and she kept saying that she had nobody over her except for the owner and she refused to give me the owners contact information. At the end of it all she hung up without letting me say anything else to her. Moreover, she was bullying me into coming to her store in a pretty intimidating manner and at the end of the day didnt resolve my issue. I got a more or less adequate service from another customer service representative (Christine I believe) who was able to provide a partial solution to my problem but that was after I spent almost an 1.5 hours on the phone being yelled at by Kiara. Stay away from this store and save yourself some nerve! If store manager is looking at this I hope he/she takes some corrective action against your staff like Kiara otherwise you will be losing business to your competitors.

Weve purchased a few items here and got the insurance for all of them, thinking that this way we would protect our investment from any accidents that may happen. The time that we needed to use the insurance they took almost two months to go fix our dinning room table, which after 6 months started to get something like "water spots" even though nothing has ever been spilled and we always use table mats, during ALL the time that they took it kept getting stains, so when they finally got to our place just for the "PRE-INSPECTION" and stating on site that they would later schedule a pick up date, they sent an email stating that the insurance did not cover this because they where stains over time... well YES OF COURSE THEY TOOK TWO MONTHS!!!!! we call value furniture to make a complaint about this situation and of course after we paid them for all of these insurances with """"full coverage"""" they state that its a different company and they have nothing to do with the policy, we requested to speak with the manager who of course was busy at time but would call in the next hour or so and it has been two days without a call back. The furniture is not that great, things look too used too fast and its only two adults at home so we really take care of it and on top of that i feel like the insurance is just a complete scam to get more money and they dont even take ownership over it.

⚠️DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS LOC ATION!⚠️ Where do I even begin to start...I bought a Pacer Media Sound System 64" on Black Friday. When it came it not only didnt have the sound bar but the shelves and doors werent on the truck...and Im patient so Im like its no biggie we can wait for it to come; I paid extra to have it delivered and installed: when the man they sent came with the soundbar, shelves and doors he didnt know what to do, had no tools; I had to help him set it up (although I paid extra for them to set it up) after receiving an email about a survey from them I noticed I didnt receive my "Pure Promise" cleaning package. I called and received it a week later. All was well for 2 weeks then my soundbar broke, it wouldnt play anything...no tv, no Bluetooth... I called was put on hold by numerous representatives named roxanne everytime for 15mins at the least....only to be asked my phone number and told someone would call me back...and to NOT be. Originally I ordered this for the holidays... at this point i was at i was fed up, as any human being would be; after paying $700 for a product for the holidays only for it to come incomplete, then break 2 weeks later and not work for the holidays.
