I know it is tax time and some ppl need a car whatever you do dont buy from First State Auto. As a matter of fact they moved their cars on Major Motors lot around the corner from their old place. Not only are they a scam but they will over charge you like for a gps to track your car. Then tell you you will get the money back once you pay off the car. Well I ended up sueing this company for a car that I purchased for my son and won. And guess what there was no GPS in the car and charged a $160.00 for it. BEWARE DON"T BUY A CAR FROM FRIST STATE AUTO. AND IF YOU DO VIDEO TAPE THEM AND MAKE SURE THEY GIVE YOU A WARRENTY THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I DID AND WON. All the reviews that you have read are so so true because I can relate. The car I purchased you couldnt see what gear or the milage and he wouldnt let me drive he had to drive. I had to go to work so I had my son to finish the papaer work and when my son called as he pulled off the lot and told me you cant see what grea or the mileage I called Bob and told him I want my money back he said I already took it off the lot he would fix it it was only a bulb. 2 and a half years still waiting on a bulb. but after 6 months I filed a complaint in JP court and won. He appealled and I still won. Why because he lies and I recoreded his every word.

I dont know what some people are talking about. I brought my 1st car in DE in 2011. It was a 2000 Ford Focus Wagon. It had minor problems but we agreed as long as we made our payments on time, he would fix the issue, no charge, just pay for the part. The car cost 4500. we kept it for 3 years and sold it for 2000 and it was still in good condition.We drove the car from DE to Charlotte,NC and back several times and it never gave us any issues. We probably only invested 600 in repairs over 3 years.They are good people and they try their best to get you the car you want. but it is best to get the car you NEED! We let them pick the car for us instead going in there wanting an 2013 escalade cuz when u do that, they give you the only one they got which might not be in good shape. Its just that you wanted it and you were willing to pay for it so they gave it to you. Shop around the lot. just dont settle for something thats pretty. Take a mechanic with you next time.

PLACE SUCKS DO NOT BUY FROM THEM MY FIANCE BOUGHT A 2001 FORD EXPEDITION FROM THEM SECOND DAY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON SO I TOOK IT BACK THEY FIXED THE ISSUE SO I THOUGHT THEN WE GET A CALL SAYING THE TRUCK DIDNT PASS INSPECTION... OK HERE IS WHERE THE PROBLEM STARTS U SOLD US A CAR THAT YOU KNEW DIDNT PASS INSPECTION THEN U TAKE IT BACK THROUGH IT PASSES UCALL US TO GET THE TAGS RIGHT BEFORE TEMPS EXPIRE NO PROBLEM WE GET THE TAGSAND LATER ON THAT DAY SPARK PLUG BLOWS OUT HMMMMMM DIDNT U GUYS DO A TUNE UP........ I CALL BACK MAD AS CAN BE OF COURSE THE GUY STATES NO LEMMON LAW LAUGHS I GOT TO YELLING HE THEN HANGS UP ON ME HMMMMMM.... SO I CALLED BACK SAID BOB BETTER CALL BACK OR ATY WILL BE CALLING LADY SAID SHE WILL HAVE HIM CALL........... FRADULANT PEOPLE ALL LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE CRIMINAL RECORDS.......

Dont buy from them .........at all One of the salesmen (old men) walks around with a gun on his hip...like hescared someone might jack him......... Bought a honda civic and the same night the back bumper fell off ........(bought it as is, but still )))) Went back next day to tell them .... they said I could order parts from honda....when you buy a new car you dont want to have car payments and have to be fixing it a the same time..... im just saying.

I bought Nissan and trans blew twice in 1 year and I still am paying for car that dont run. They prob by crap cars wash them off and put price 10x more than they bought. They only care that it makes it off their lot and will get a court judgement against you to collect if you try to take car back. DONT BUY HERE, manyother great places to but or look for private seller.

Place is a Sham.............purchased a 2002 Honda Civic in six weeks I was replacing the transmition in less than six monts I had done over 5500.00 dollars in repairs to a car I paid 4500 for. Turns out it had been in a front end collision!!! replaced control arms, ball joints, cateleich converter and it still doesnt run!!! BUYER BEWARE!!
