Have had my 2012 focus in for service for the same problem 4 times. Im having a transmission problem which causes the car to shutter, jerk, slip, till back and not shift. I was told this was normal. Manager told me they have replaced the tcm and put a new clutch in. When I requested ppwk to compare they are very much different. No where Im mine does it day the clutch was replaced. It says it need prior approval to be replace but after reprogramming its "ok". Anyway.... AUG 15-replaced tcm reprogram adap lear. Seals were replaced and clutch was ordered (6-8 weeks). Replace tcm, oring, tcm call in, brake clean (?), clutch seal kit, clutch b/o 6vweeks out. May 2015. Another tcm installed and a seal. Seals were replaced and clutch was ordered (6-8 weeks). Replaced tcm (again?) oring (again?) tcm called in (so was it replaced?) clutch seal kit (again?) clutch......b/o.....6 weeks out (still?) DEC 2015 TCM (hmmmm), reprogram for overt tcm failure warming. Declined diagnosis due to a $100 plug and play fee...but yet they plugged it in anyway (hmmmm) didnt charge me them refused to fix it. Road test passed, how? As soon as I started driving it started jerking and slipping. But when your techs drive it its fine (hmmmm). Have more service papers here but all day the same thing---replaced or reprogrammed seals blah blah blah. Management not happy I left review on Facebook but owell how many people is this dealership gonna give the run around to and lie to? When asked for ppwk you should just give it. It looks shaddy if you want to see my papers first, or you say "Ill give them to you later because u have to dig" etc...red flag! And you shouldnt have your customers wait a month to make a appt when they have a check engine light on (no bending with management was told)! Then get to your appt and not even have the car fixed and not have a rental car like promised. If I wanted to wait for my car to be "serviced" I would Not have made a appt a month out all over a rental car. Ill be taking my business elsewhere and never dealing with this dealership again! Ill tell you the same thing you tell me "you can deal with Ford" since they are the reason for all your neg feedback. If you Value your money and your car you will go elsewhere. 2 months later car still doing the same thing its been doing. They reset the part again with the same reset as before. Not sure what sense that makes but what do I know...also when driving 55-70 mph on highway the electrical dies. Radio, dash etc. Asked them to fix this problem and still Not fixed. Imagine that! Car actrd up the whole way back from the poconos with my 6 year old and 4 year old in the car. Not safe! Now my warranty is expired and Im stuck driving around a busted up car all because The boys at Porter are qualified enough to simply diagnosis and fix a newer car. Sucks, was really hoping after 10 tried they would be able to fix and before my warranty was to expire. Dont be stupid like me and keep trusting in them. Go someplace else. You will regret it!!!

Update : The GM reached out to me to discuss the below interaction and I am pleased that he took the time to address it with the salesman, as well as follow up with me. We had a good conversation about what happened, what I had expected, and what was done. Having the GM take the time to contact me and make it as right as he could, is enough for me to continue to consider this location when buying my next vehicle. Well done, Jason. Stopped in to look at, test drive, and run numbers on a 2003 Mustang Cobra that they have listed on their site. Keep in mind, I have been actively looking for the 03/04 Cobra for 5 years, specifically black or white. So when I saw a local dealer had a low mile black coupe, I went to check it out. I arrived and saw the car out front. I walked up to it, and was then approached by a salesman who was nice, excitable, and courteous. I told him how I have been looking, so I stopped in. He was excited to show me the vehicle, and take it out for a short drive. He went in to copy my license, and before he came back out with the keys, I was approached by the sales manager. Experience went downhill from here. Sales manager introduced himself, and immediately followed with "the price is the price, and you need to either pay cash or put a large portion of down payment down. Im not trying to come across as a dick, but we need to make sure we are on the same page". I had not yet said anything, and he came out with that. I couldnt believe how unprofessional the sales manager was towards me. He was treating me like I was some tire kicker with no knowledge or planning of what I wanted or was looking for, or willing to pay. The 03/04 Cobra is a highly sought after vehicle, and it is rare to find one with low miles and all stock. But this salesman was acting like this was the new GT350R, or even the new Ford GT. I was not allowed to drive it, the most I could do was sit inside. As all salesmen do , he talked up the car like it was Gods gift to car world. He then told me I need to put down at least 15k to finance the rest of the 33k price tag (which is a little high, but not totally out of the correct price range). I laughed and pointed to my $54k truck and said "I didnt even put that much down for that truck, and they let me drive that". At this point I was pretty much tuned out from the whole situation and was just enjoying the car. I was very surprised the way that I was treated. Maybe it was because I did not call ahead, or because I am young, or the way I was dressed, but they assumed I was not a serious buyer, which I am. Like I said, I have been looking and saving for 5 years for this vehicle. Bottom line is, they would not let me drive a $33k car from 2003, for whatever reason. Id be surprised if I was allowed to drive anything on that lot after that experience. God forbid I was interested in a new Diesel truck for twice that price tag. Just not a very professional way of doing business.

SUMMARY: Purchased a used car through my banks "trusted parters" auto search website... still waiting on the title for my vehicle over 1 month later. PROS: I called the salesman, Garrett Otto, and asked for additional pictures. He took some pictures and sent them to my cell phone. CONS: I explained to the salesman that I was driving from another state, 2.5 hours away to test drive the car, and possibly purchase. I took the day off work to arrive at the dealership early. I showed up to the dealership and the car wasnt ready. When asked, the salesman escorted me to their garage area, where a mechanic was installing a new HID assembly. Why wasnt the car ready, per our scheduled appointment? Beats me, it wasnt a next day appointment. "How long?" I ask. He checks with the mechanic who says 3-4 hours. Really? Really?? Well I didnt want to take the day off work and drive all the way to Newark for nothing, so (lucky for me I planned ahead) I took myself and my work laptop to a Panera bread in town to wait it out. Unlike most other dealerships Ive been to, nobody offered a cozy waiting room with amenities like WiFi... just recommended some coffee shops in the college town (where you can park and walk in the 9 degree weather). Fast forward to closing on the car. I explain that I will just need to call my bank, because with closing costs, I will need another thousand dollars (I spoke with my bank on the way to the dealership to confirm this wouldnt be a problem just in case; it wasnt, they just suggested that I wait to be sure, because it would require another gauntlet of credit checks which doesnt look good on a credit report later). Well, the kind people at the dealership suggested that I just wait to title and register the car in my home state of PA because it would save me $500 and then I wont need to go back to the bank for an updated loan. Makes sense. So I think Im in the home stretch when they send me back to meet the dreaded closer and "sign some paperwork." After declining all of the add-ons, the closing rep was noticeably irritated that I hadnt signed up for any of their "generous plans," and his demeanor became very curt. The "closer routine" seemed odd to me, mostly because they encouraged me to title the car myself to avoid adding on to my loan. Opting for any of their packages would require me to go back to my bank anyway... odd, I thought. Fast forward one more time to today, and I now see why they encouraged me to title and register the car myself. I am STILL waiting on the title for my car. Without it, I cannot: pay the sales tax, register my car, obtain new plates, have the car inspected for my state. In other words, I have a lengthy, pricey checklist to perform, and I cant do any of it until I receive the title. When I ask Garrett Otto about the title, he informs me that the dealership never had the title, and that theyre waiting on it from the state. Well, Im still waiting too...
