After totaling our Kia, we came in to purchase a Chrysler 200. Although we had an appointment with a salesperson, she had other customers coming in at the same time to take care of followup items. Instead of assisting her, the rest of the "Sales Team" sat behind us while we waited for her to come and go, watching a football game. And although we told our sales person and the sales manager what we were willing to pay, they didnt show us what we wanted and they tried to upsell us - I guess they figured after waiting for "quotes" to be prepared, etc. we would purchase what THEY wanted to sell us. After 5 hours we finally got to test drive the car we wanted and got the paperwork together. Luckily, I noticed a gouge and crease damage on the front bumper before we drove it off the lot. When we went in and told them about it, a manager said "Oh, yes, that car was damaged. We can have it fixed for you." They KNEW it was damaged but... just stared out the window at us, waiting for us to get it off their lot. Instead of tearing up the paperwork for the way we were treated and the dishonesty in not pointing out the damage when we first looked at the car, we agreed to having it fixed. Two weeks later, we were able to get our car and drive it. I wont go into the mess we had to NEGOTIATE for a rental for that time... So, 60 days later, our temp tags are expiring and we had to call them to find out "Where are our tags? Our temp expires tomorrow." Seems their title/tag person neglected to contact us about them. I guess we should be thankful the paperwork was even completed and they were actually ready. NEVER AGAIN. We have purchased a dozen cars over the past 25 years and we have NEVER been treated so badly or make such a BAD decision in supporting a business with our purchase. I could never recommend this dealership to anyone, for any reason.

the service department is awful. I used to get oil changes there often. Guaranteed minimum wait of at least 2 hours though I have waited four sometimes, with an appointment no less. They just changed the oil. No topping off of fluids which they claim to do every time. Even when I tell them my brake light is on and I need more brake fluid. Also, they wouldnt close my hood down all the way. The hook that keeps the hood from flying up was attached but it wasnt shut completely and would shake when I drove on the highway. I talked to some guy who sits in a special office for disputes. He (get this) claimed that a spring broke which can happen sometimes due to oil changes and other repairs. From people opening and closing the hood of you car a lot. So me being a good car owner who gets regular car maintenance every 5,000 miles or so over a five year period broke my car? WHAT!!! He also claimed that the guys who work in the garage lube up this spring to prevent this common problem. I laugh at him and pointed out there was no way they did that if they dont even bother to check and top off fluids even when you specifically request it. That shut him up for a bit. Afterward, he told me the service center would be glad to fix it for $200, but they were nice enough to cut out the labor and bring it down to $120. I said no, and wouldnt you know it the hood of my car was completely shut when I drove off. The hood with the broken spring magically was closable again. This was just one of many things that went wrong there. I just didnt want to write a book. This place sucks and when you try to talk to someone they dont seem to care. I now go to the dealership on the 13 and 40 split.

From day 1, Lonnie and Kelly put together the best new car-buying deal I ever had. After months of researching Wranglers, and approuching different dealers, I bought my new, cutom-ordered, 15 Jeep Wrangler Sport-S at Newark. Its my 4th new, 12th overall vehicle purchased in my life. There was a ZERO haggle negotiation, straight-up pricing, all questions researched and answered, and no last minute suprises. The pricing was just above invoice, then, they lowered my APR on request, gave me 2K more for my 06 Jeep trade-in than Brandywine (thats 2K ABOVE KBB), and...after a pricing mixup for aftermarket heated seats I didnt even know about, they threw them in for FREE... without me even asking! I had ordered exactly what I wanted option-wise, got it delivered early, with aftermarket leather and heated seats added, for LESS than MSRP! You simply CANNOT do better than that on a high-demand vehicle with no rebates. Period. Oh, and Newarks service department has taken care of my 06 Jeeps repair/service needs 4 times. Not one bad experience. As for Brandywine, well, thats another story. As for those persons leaving bad Newark reviews, all I can say is, Ive dealt with many several various other dealerships in my life. Only 2 ever provided excellent service. Matt Slapp Subaru and Newark Chysler Jeep Dodge. Thanks Lonnie, Kelly, and all the other staff that helped me have a wonderful Jeep purchasing experience. Dave

DO NOT EVER buy a vehicle from this dealership. I bought an 07 Honda Pilot from this dealership in February of 2013 for our family vehicle, Its now May of 2013 and since then Ive needed to bring it back 5 times with problems, the biggest one needing an engine replacement after it broke down on a busy roadway. The service department knows nothing about anything unless its "one of their vehicles" meaning a Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge, And the managers could care less. They dont look over their used vehicles before they sell them like they claim and they dont care about the customer. The entire first month I had to drive a rental car, and have driven a total of 3 rental cars within the 3 month time frame of having this car. After all the repairs, to top it off we had to return again with a broken A.C. after having to drive around for four days in 95 degree weather with our 3 children while they "ordered the part". The used car manager Phil told me he was "not interested" in providing us with a rental until they had the part in and can work on it. So we rode with the kids in the heat while they ordered the part and they still charged me a $100 deductible to fix the A.C.. They may be "not interested", but they are interested in the money though. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE

We recently did 2 transactions with Lonnie Wood at this dealership and cannot say enough about the experience from beginning to end. The first was a trade in that my daughter was making on upgrading from a Patriot to a Cherokee but with marginal credit rating following a period of unemployment. Lonnie and his colleague, Chris Smith went to work for her and got a rate that was much lower than the dealer we bought the Patriot from originally and enabled her to get the car that night. The second was the purchase of a 2015 Cherokee for my wife which ended up with a great price, lower than several other quotes along with a careful review of what had changed in options and packages from 2014 to 2015 (which no other dealer had even mentioned to us). What really impressed my entire family that night was how Lonnie and Chris were working for us, not just trying to make 2 deals quickly. In fact, at one point after they had found my daughter a good interest rate, they told us if we could wait a little while there was one quote not yet in that might be lower...we waited and it was. They reduced her payments on the new car by almost $70/month. We are directing all our friends and family to them from now on...and we live in PA
