Time Wasters. I spoke with a gentleman at Holden about purchasing & financing a used 2007 Impala SS. Though various phone calls we proceeded to the submitting of pay stubs and haggling about the down payment. Once that was all done with we had agreed to $1500 out the door. I had to reschedule my visit due to work commitments, and arrived late Saturday morning expecting to test drive the car and sign on the dotted line. The car seemed to be in good condition, however there were obvious problems not alluded to in the vehicles description. A loud clacking noise could be heard under the dash whenever HVAC temp controls were adjusted (apparently the car had been sitting on the lot since October and such a dealbreaker was not addressed), and the power steering fluid needed to be topped off or the pump replaced altogether. The interior had that desperate smell of perfume meant to mask what must have been a life-long smokers vehicle. All things that any sane person would walk away from or negotiate for a lower price. But alas, we didnt get that far. All of a sudden my $1500 down that had been agreed on, that the gentleman working finance had told me on Friday morning, was no good. They couldnt approve me for financing on this car. No way, no how. Their suggestion? "We can get you financing on a new Chrysler 200, or a Dodge Dart! We could probably get you into the Dodge Journey as well!". We left when it was obvious that this was nothing more than a bait and switch. I dont take kindly to having my time wasted. My wife and I, and three kids in tow, drove the hour it takes to get to the Holden dealership from Newark just to have our time wasted. No, we dont want the poorly rated (24th in its class) Dodge Dart. No, we dont want the completely underwhelming moving wallpaper that is the Chrysler 200. As for the Journey, its the same as the Dart, ranked 21st in its class. I had a certain car in mind and they could not offer a single decent alternative. No thanks.

Extremely satisfying experience. I was in the market to buy a new car and started by browsing the online inventory. Without even setting foot on the lot, I was able to narrow down my choice to a single vehicle. The website is very thorough with details and pictures both inside and out of the actual vehicles on the lot, not stock photos. After clicking a link to see if I qualified, I received a friendly email the next day from Nicole, the Internet Salesperson. She promptly answered any and all questions I had and set me up with an appointment to test drive the vehicle I had chosen, a 2015 Jeep Renegade. I arrived on the lot for my appointment to find the Renegade ready and waiting to be test driven. I was greeted by a friendly Salesperson named Dahlia. She was friendly, polite, and very informative about the vehicle. I never once felt like I was being treated like a number or a quota, rather just the opposite; I felt like I was immediately part of a small welcoming family. Dahlia set me up for a test drive and answered any questions I had. I loved the Jeep and decided to purchase it. In a very short period of time, I was driving off the lot in a brand new Jeep Renegade with a thank you card from Dahlia in hand. (BTW, Holden Dodge, thank you. That card had a scratch off ticket worth $100 in it.) Unfortunately, after two weeks of owning the Renny, while parked it was dinged by another driver. Two weeks old and I was already having my first experience with the Body Shop and the Service Department. Kaitlyn, the Body Shop Manager, promptly gave me an estimate and arranged to get me in to have it fixed. Thankfully, the vehicle looks like new again. Everyone that I have interacted with from internet sales, to sales, to body shop, to service have been very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone go to Holden Dodge to purchase their next vehicle. Oh, and P.S., don’t forget to tell them I sent you.

I WAS going to buy a vehicle here, I had the appointment set and everything. Due to a delay I had to reschedule... once I rescheduled, there after I was treated poorly. Like I had no money and was wasting their time. They were "fakey nice" to me, but you could read it on their face. Hes a time stealer. Unfortunately for them I bought a 50k Truck 1 mile down the road from Hertrich Nissan in Dover. No comparsion in the staff... The difference in training and the attitudes of the staff were night/day. At Nissan I was treated like I mattered and the objective that held up my wife with buying the Dodge was dealt with in seconds. The staff were total pros... at Holden the receptionist was rude every time I was there or called... and the people there just not genuine. Being in sales, Ive learned never to under estimate your buyer, I was wearing shaggy clothes the day I popped in at Holden because I was running a quick stop from home. Ironically the same thing happened the next week at Nissan, but this time I was treated like I had a suit on. Huge difference!

Had collision repair done on my wifes truck. The mechanics are incompetent. We have had numerous visits back to the dealership for them to try to correct what they missed and/or halfassed fixed. Im to the point of having another shop correct the rest of the issues just for piece of mind that it will be done right. Second, before we began, we specifically told the dealership and the insurance company that we wanted OEM parts, not parts built to OEM standards. We were assured by both parties that we will have true OEM parts installed. Well it turns out that that was wrong. Our headlights were replaced with aftermarket brand that dont fit right and are broken inside. Now, the dealership is pointing the finger back at the insurance company saying that they approved what was ordered. Trying to put a warranty claim in to get the headlights fixed and Mike from Holden continues to blow me off. Stay away from these guys, unless you want nothing but headaches.

Avoid this place. These people are incompetent, ripoff artists. I had my front bumper replaced and painted. The paint started blistering and peeling away in two places in a years time. Wtf? They wanted to charge a ridiculous amount to paint the whole car, which was totally unnecessary because the car is relatively new. Price Honda, another bunch of idiots, uses them for body work.

They have a pretty decent selection of vehicles. The salesman that came up to me and my fiance was very quick to exaggerate the features of the Jeep Renegade we were looking at. But he was very friendly and helpful. He pulled the car we were interested in forward and let us take a good look at the vehicle. We also did not feel pressured in any kind of way while on the lot.

Courteous and professional, the service department resolved an issue with my truck that I had been trying to get fixed for two weeks with an independent shop. It took them about three hours and Im back on the road!! I will recommend them to all Chrysler owners, and will be coming here for my next truck purchase. Thank you.

The faculty was great, they helped me with all the questions I had. I asked for a Carfax and without any hesitation, daliah, the representative, pulled it right up and explained everything. I would highly reccomend anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to check this place out.
