I recently moved to the area and inherited a swimming pool. I decided to forge a relationship with the nearest pool dealer: Leisuretime. I went there for advice on a pool that I was trying to figure out. The owner was not very helpful, courteous, or sympathetic to the problems I faced. He provided me with wrong parts, items I didnt need, and could not figure out any of the problems I encountered. Since then I have been going to Newtown Pools where they have been VERY helpful and courteous. Local dealers need to understand that we can get next day shipment on any pool chemical or part for a fraction of the price of local dealers. If they want us to buy local, they need to provide value-add. The value-add is advice, service, and a sympathetic ear. Leisuretime may have the luxury of turning people away, but it wont last forever.

I have been a customer for several years. I have bought skies, jackets, multiple items and a very large hot tub all over the last 3 years so I am definitely pleased or I would not keep going back. Great people, years in the business and very helpful when needed. If your only criteria is price I suggest you try Walmart or K Mart to start with. If you want top line equipment that has been carefully selected from years of success with the manufacture, good recommendations and help when you need it then this is an excellent choice. I buy over the internet as much as anyone but for skies and related equipment as well as spas that certainly would not be my first choice.

the google user that is writing reviews of this place being really great, definitely is the owners of the store going on here and making up these supposed great reviews to help their stores image.. the fact is, it definitely is not a customer writing the reviews.. they have the worst service possible the lady that answers the phone there sounds like the witch for the wizard of oz..... could you believe they wanted 699.99 for a hayward superpump 1 and half HP. when the price of the unit with free shipping and no taxes is 373.99 to 429.99 from every other company. this company is a crock.. never spend your money there. i cant believe they exist.

Best deal of all time if you have kids. $400 per kid, outfits them with skis, poles and boots until they turn 18 years old, then you have the option to buy new gear at a 50% discount. No other shop does this. I live a few hours away, but come back every year for my 2 girls because it is so worth it. Merchandise is expensive, but thats no different than any other ski shop. Friendly family-owned place, highly recommended.

We use Leisuretime for Pool maintenance, ski rentals, and sport goods. Outstanding, professional and friendly service in every aspect taking care of our pool. I would highly recommend them. The junior ski program is fantastic and the ONLY way keep pace with ski gear and growing kids. They are very friendly and knowledgeable and the only place I will rent ski gear anywhere in NW Connecticut.

Casey went above and beyond to help me recently with a spa water problem we were having. He contacted the chemical suppliers to get answers to all the questions we had. He could not have been more helpful. All of the staff are very nice and seem to genuinely care about their customers. I highly recommend Leisure Time for Year-round ski or spa needs.

I bought into their ski program for my kids years ago. We started when the kids were 4 years old and 5 years in. It is absolutely the best decision I could have made. They can keep getting new gear until 110 lbs(?). I strongly suggest joining this ski program for anyone with young kids. They are knowledgeable about skis etc and never steer you wrong.

Have been getting my pool chemicals for 10 years now at Leisuretime and have never had a water problem. Water has been crystal clear every year. I attribute that to the accurate water testing and recommended chemicals from the knowledgeable staff at Leisuretime. Highly recommended!!

Tom and his son Casey have been looking after our pool for over 14 years and have done a great job. Always dependable and reasonable with pricing. Oh and we get all our snowboarding and ski equipment from them too, great deals and same great service.
