This is a great little shop, I was surprised to read the negative comments about the place. I gotta figure someone has an axe to grind (or is just a whiner). Every time Ive been in, Garys prices have been better than reasonable. His prices are always better than Hoffmans, Valley Firearms or any of the other big places locally. Ive bought at least 4 guns here and Gary has always been extremely helpful. I once bought a lemon NIB that they had just gotten from a distributor and Gary worked hard to help me get it back to the factory for repair and when the factory couldnt fix it (guess who -Taurus, my mistake), he made sure they replaced it. Other than that, everything Ive bought here used or new was flawless. I dont know what the deal is with returning phone calls- the guy has his cell phone on his belt all the time and I once needed to do a transfer and Gary picked up at 8 pm on a Sunday! Ive only dealt with Glenn once. Hes fine but doesnt seem to work with a lot of modern firearms or he specializes in a couple specific areas. Gary has a better knowledge base.

The shop is a great firearm/trading post type business. ..you find a lot of rare and unusual firearms..yet they have a great selection of your current marketed firearms, the prices are very reasonable. The shop is also very family friendly, and Glenn the owner is very knowledgeable and fair and makes you feel at home..great place for first time buyers or seasoned collectors...makes you want to come back more and more..A great small business! !

My hometown gun shop. Reminds me of bygone days. Glenn and Gary are always polite, never condescending. The have a wide variety of firearms, both used and new. The inventory constantly changes. I recommend going on a weekday as Saturdays can be super busy. They also have a large selection of vintage hunting/fishing/trapping items and ephemera, suitable for the collector.

Had no trouble at all purchasing a shotgun here. Both Glenn and Gary were very helpful, and Gary always returned my phone calls. Prices were very reasonable and competitive with other local gun shops (Valley, CT Arms) and I was even given more than the usual 30 days to pay for my gun with no questions asked. Id definitely buy here again, and I intend to do so

Two owners,Glenn is great and reasonable with prices and trade but partner gary is very unrealistic, doesnt return emails or calls and charges new prices for used and wont budge. Overall good shop but you should only deal with Glenn.

I bought a few different rifles from them, but every time I had to bring the rifle back because they would seize up or jam, every rifle I ever bought from them has had to be brought to a gun smith for repair,

Not the cheapest place around, but a pretty impressive inventory of used items and collectables you might not expect in the area. Nice people that dont make you feel uncomfortable browsing about.
