Just bought a shotgun from Joe. Couldnt be happier. He helped us from the minute we walked in. He was very knowledgeable and worked with us until we found the right gun. I was at basspro/cabelas/dicks but Joe was recommended by at 3 people at 2 different gun clubs so I was certain he was the right man to talk to. As a bonus his price was slightly less than any retail shop.

Joe has an excellent and ever-changing selection of guns in all price ranges and styles, from beautiful (expensive) sporting guns to inexpensive starter rifles. His prices are easily the best in the area and hes usually willing to cut a deal even on top of that. Definitely a required stop for anyone looking to purchase firearms or equipment in the Newtown/Danbury area.

I called for something semi strange, that most people dont have a need for....small pistol magnum primers. The gentleman on the phone was about to send primers back to the distributor because he received magnums in error. He kept a box for me and sat on the balance of the primers for me. What a great guy. Patronize this store, we want him to be here forever!

this is not only the best gun store, but, anyone owning a small business could learn from joe and his wondrful wife, they are the greatest!! i wish i had bought all my guns from him and will buy EVERY thing hunting related from him in the future.

Knowledge of the owner is good, although hell try to talk you out of buying certain guns. He also smokes like chimney inside, near very expensive firearms
