This is less than 1/2 a mile away. Its our local store. They are part of Savingstar, so I get to double-down on some coupons. Their sales are not always the most competitive (and Geisslers is just around the corner), but the kids that work there are really nice. The pharmacist is a great guy as well (always says hi to my husband, whether or not hes filling a prescription), and the butchers are very helpful and courteous. The produce could be a little fresher (potatoes especially). All-in-all, its a nice place to shop.

Great prices, clean store, friendly & helpful staff. The produce & deli are the biggest reason to shop here. No tired produce or lunch meat that is just about to turn. At other chain grocery stores, I have gone to use meat or produce just two days after purchase, and had to throw it away because it has gone bad. Big Y pulls stock that is not fresh instead of selling it to unsuspecting consumers. I will always shop here because of the quality of the food.

Stopped by here on the way home on a road trip about an hour before the store closed. While we were thankful that it was still open, basically all of the produce had already been packed away. There were one or two of some types of produce that were left out still, but they were either not ripe or too ripe, in typical Big Y fashion. The rest of the store seemed well-maintained.

I bought a 30 inch grinder today and was disappointed. Theyre was only 1 layer of sliced turkey and 3 inches of vegetables. I usually purchase about 6 grinders a month and they have multiple layers of sandwich meat. Im hoping this isnt the new norm. 1 star for the fresh vegetables.

Good place for groceries. Not a department store. Nice selection of brand and private label foods. Good customer service. Less queue at the billing counters. And excellent savings especially if you are a Big y member. Free membership available to begin with.

Despite the name, there is no big Y inside the store. Its just a grocery store. Its a fairly regular store. The selection isnt anything to write home about and the prices can be high unless you use the big Y card.

Staff are always friendly. This is the grocery store I go to for those quick trips. They always have what I need. I always get and out fast. Like all big y grocery stores the selection is great.
