Every time I have been here it seems like it hasnt been cleaned in months. The produce section routinely has food on the floor and the aisles feel dirty underfoot. I always wind up finding food in places it has no business being. The cart boys dont wear anything that reflects their being store employees, so they look like they are casing cars.

Stop & Shop is relatively clean and certainly enormous. Their produce has a hard time competing with farm stands during the season. They have an organic/healthy section that is lacking compared to other big name grocery stores, but its still my favorite grocery store in the area.

Presentation is always nice. The produce is always fresh. Ive been shopping at stop and shop for many years at various locations. This was my second time at the Riverhead location and its very nice. Just add nice as what Ive grown accustomed to, in the city.

Well stocked dry/packaged/frozen goods. The produce is usually terrible quality and generally do not last as long as produce from other retailers. It is not an enjoyable experience but necessary for some of the products I consume.
