As a person who has shopped in the Mission Trace shopping center virtually all my life, this was the worst customer experience Ive had in years. Very disappointed with the cost of repair on products that "they sell". The cost to fix a link on a sterling silver chain (that was bought in this store) was nearly more than the cost of a brand new chain its self. The cost for this should had been $0 and would have, if i had gone to a Jeweler who actually backs or gaurantees the products they sell. When I asked, "Why so much?" I was informed i might want to consider purchasing a better chain next time, dispite it being the chain featured with the diamond pendant it was bought with. Sorry... I can Garantee this... There will not be a next time! Not to mention i was never called and informed that the repair was even done. After 2 weeks had gone by not hearing anything back about the repair, i made a trip to the store, just to be informed it had been for some time and sitting around. Really??? I will be happy to notify everyone i know, to not do business here. And I know a heck of a lot of people who do business in the shopping center and area.

I have a Citizen Watch that i broke one of the pins that holds the band together. I took the watch to where i purchased it and they said it would cost me $65 and i would have to ship it back to Citizen. I received the same message from a number of large jewelers. I decided to bring it to D&D on the recommendation of a friend. Five minutes and $5 later the watch is good as new. I am really glad i brought the watch here as i have a number of other watches that need batteries and these guys said they can take care of me, where all the other jewelers and watch repair places say i need to ship them back to the manufacturer (Tissot Watches). I will be coming back with my entire watch collection. Extremely happy that i did not have to spend $60+ dollars and be without the watch for a month over a $3 part.

I arrived about 5min before they opened and there was a middle-aged white man inside, I knocked on the door because it was freezing outside and he looked at me, pointed to his watch (saying to wait 5min), and then continued messing with his shirt or whatever he was doing. I thought that was so RUDE! When Im going to make a big purchase Id like to be treated better, he could have let me in and told me he needed a few minutes before helping me, instead of making me freeze outside. I dont think he would have treated me that way if I looked rich or drove a Mercedes. I went back home and made my purchase elsewhere online instead.

Just went in to find out what they would charge for setting a center stone in my ring and they quoted me a price of 150oo!!!! Thats ridiculous!! Its wrong to rob customers!!
