Most of their selection are just sports and low tier titles, as far as retro games go. They have a terrible selection of anything before the PS2 so its a bad place to go to look for retro games. They mainly focus on selling stuff from within the last 3-5 years so there is really no difference between going here and to GameStop because they pretty much charge the same thing. Also, they dont work on prices with you. They have had a copy of Street Fighter III: Third Strike for the Dreamcast on their shelf forever with a $40 price tag. I asked to look at it a few weeks ago and the case was broken at the hinges. I asked if they could work with the price and they said no. Why? This isnt a store with branches so they have specific prices, its a independently owned store. Why cant they work on prices when they are selling damaged material any way? I late got Third Strike on eBay for $20, complete with manual and a non broken jewel case. And their prices are outrageous. Anything that is retro and could be considered a high tier or rare title, they just charge the crap out of it. You have a way better chance of finding what you want on eBay(w/ shipping included) for a lower price than at Game Force. I was listening to one of the clerks talk to a friend of mine that works at GameStop stating that GameStop is their competition and people tend to like them better. I dont know why. One of the big perks of having a used games store is the retro titles that you can sell, but Game Force doesnt really have any. So I dont see how GameStop is their competition considering that they sell things at almost the same price for recent games/consoles. Their main focus is to be doing better than eBay and selling what retro stuff they have at better prices, but they dont. Instead, you are met with stacks of sports titles that they sell for more than $1. They should just burn them in a pile. Overall, Game Force currently has it made in Pueblo, CO being the only used games store, so its either GF or GameStop. With no intelligent competition, they just sell and do whatever they want and take advantage of their situation while screwing over the customer with high prices w/o negotiation, damaged products and small selection of retro titles. You would be better off buying stuff on eBay and for retro game hunting, just go to flea markets or thrift stores.

Ok so I brought my original xbox into the store for a trade in and the employee there that tested the xbox was quite rude. See my xbox is modded with external hard drives and over the phone the employee said that he would give me a price based on my memory. When I brought it in, he said oh we dont care about the mods we just care if it plays discs and that the controller slots all work perfectly. Well the thing is, my mod utilizes the first player controller slot to pull the games into the hard drives. He plugged in the controllers and I told him that the controllers worked fine he just had to plug it into the 2nd controller slot but he said that if everything doesnt work perfectly that he considered the whole xbox to be broken. He didnt even bother to check the connection to see if the controller was fully plugged in he just barely popped it in and than started mashing the buttons, than he tried the other one, all the while I was telling him that the mod utilizes the first player controller slot. He continued to state that he didnt care and if it didnt work exactly the way he wanted to he wouldnt even accept that it was a working console. I was trying to tell him to plug the controller to the second player slots but he continue said that he couldnt tell the customers that it didnt work perfectly and that they had to use the 2nd through 4th slot. This sounds like laziness to me. The console works perfect if you actually consider the mod. You know, bussiness is better if you listen to the customer, maybe next time youll listen before you lose a customer.

One of the worst local gaming stores Ive ever been to. I bought a used system from these guys, and not even ten days later I tried returning it. They refused to give me my money back or even work with me because of a defect that their store was responsible for. Yup, they refused to take back a broken system that was broken when they sold it. Unbelievable. Prices are a ripoff, the trade values they give you are terrible, and the selection of games is lacking. They dont even have new games on the day they release. Not to mention the customer service is terrible and generally unfriendly. Youre seriously just better off shopping at Game Stop. At least the employees there treat you with respect, and actually honor their return policies. All the used hardware from Game Stop is guaranteed to work too, unlike this place. Never coming here again.

Horrible experience, waited over 20 minutes before we got service, after purchase we realized we had gotten the wrong system, went back in a matter of 15 minutes and they would not give us our money back only store credit, tried to get a 3DS and it had multiple scratches and when we turned it on the corner of the screen was black yet the dealer still wanted to sell it to us as if there was no problem. Would have gotten a better deal if we went to GameStop with better products and customer service, would not recommend, we definitely learned our lesson.

Great prices and service, went there this morning. To those who dont like there selection: This is one of the few stores that sells for cheaper the eBay prices. Good stuff of course will be sold back, check back often if you really want something. Its insane to think that you think you can walk into a brick and mortar store and buy chrono trigger, final fantasy 3 and turtles in time for snes all at once for great prices.

The employees always seem to know what they are talking about when I go in. They are very helpful and nice. You get a lot of store credit for your games you trade in here. Way more than Gamestop which is practically across the street.

This store is a lot more fair than "others". It usually has a lot of what you are looking for and if not they call you as soon as they get it. If youre going to trade games or equipment this is the place to go.
