I bought a 2008 F350 super duty with a 6.8l diesel. Fell in love with the truck, several weeks after we bought it I had to reinstall the tail pipe. I also had to bolt down the bed as it only had two bolts and it is supposed to have eight bolts mounting the bed to the frame. several weeks later we had it towed as it overheated and shut down on my wife. later an oil leak had developed aroung the turbo. We had another shop look at the truck and they said that it was a lemon. Autowarehouse had no intention of making it right. They said what did you expect with a truck that had over two hundredthousand miles and sold for so cheap. Cheap, we spent ten grand of our hard earned money. Now it wont start as one of the batterys fried five of the six cells. upon further inspection, it needs tie rod ends, upper and lower balljoints. I believe that all they do is buy these trucks, wash them and sell them. They dont check anything like the batterys, fluids, suspension. My advice, drive right passed them. I could understand if we had it for a long period of time, but we only have had it for a few months. Never sign the AS IS, paper. I would give them an F. go someplace else to buy a used truck.

In July of 2012 my f250 got really sick, and I only knew of 2 diesel repair shops in town. So I took the truck to both places, and they wanted over 6k to get me back on the road. The truck is 2003, so I started shopping for another truck, while I decided what to do with very sick truck. I found Auto Warehouse on the internet. Drove to their location, no fancy show room, no fancy buildings, no café or snack bar......Just Trucks....at fair prices. I purchased a 2008 f250 from them. I still had a dilemma....WHAT TO DO WITH THE 2003 F250. Well, Auto Warehouse has a full service shop. They fixed my 2003 Ford and saved me over 4 grand. The Best Part? The price they quoted me before they started the work, was the same price I paid them when the work was completed. Awesome! Now I am a regular there, where they service both of my trucks every 6 to 7 weeks. I will Never walk onto another car lot....to look for a truck! I will Never take my vehicles anywhere else for regular maintenance or repairs. They are terrific! They are family owned and operated. Thanks for taking care of my trucks!

Single mommy who knew nothing about cars trusted American Auto Warehouse for a reliable vehicle. On February 13th 2016 I purchased a vehicle for over $5,500. Three weeks later while on the freeway the radiator blows up power steering goes out while driving. The cost out of pocket to fix the issue was over $1,600. Today August 31st has my car sits and a lot broken down it is worth less than $1,000. I made a phone call to Scott the owner and explain my situation. I have no money to fix the vehicle nor do I have a way to provide for my children anymore and he was very condescending and rude. I asked for some help in getting a new vehicle or fixing and he was not willing to do either one. And said Id was not his problem. American Auto Warehouse has been a nightmare and the worst experience I have ever had with people who have little to no regards for others and their children! My investment in this business has left me in a hole and devastated because when you cant show up to work you do not get paid! And after my car went so did my job! Never felt so used!

I was looking for a diesel pickup awhile back and had a 15k budget. was told at the time they only had about 3 trucks that were diesel and fit my budget. I thought that was weird but went in. the salesman (whose name I didnt get) seemed like he didnt wanna bother with me. didnt care seeing as I was buying a truck not looking for a friend. being a mechanic I asked if I could take a few to my shop to look over before I purchased. the 3 I test drove and looked at were in god awful condition. one had such bad front end problems that my manager said had it been a customers car he wouldve towed it out, another had a terrible amount of oil coming out of it (I know diesels are notorious for drips) but this was bad. the third and final one I looked at had the gauges and dash lights all go out about 10 minutes into driving it. each time I came back I had to hunt the guy down to hand the keys back in. I was told the mechanics in back look at every vehicle they sell, I doubt that very much. honestly from my point of view I wouldnt trust anything from these guys.

Jim and Diann are great, Scott should have Richard for his proper name so the nickname matches his personality. Do your due diligence as others mentioned, we likely lucked out. Be advised not to trust any guarantees in writing - they will probably cite the "As-Is" used car policy in CO...and hide behind that to retract any guarantees made. I am referencing an email stating they guarantee drivability and safety on the truck - well, after failing a state safety inspection due to a worn tie rod they replied stating the truck has been out of their possession for a week and they have no way of knowing what it has been through...come on, anyone who knows anything about vehicles knows a tie rod does not wear down in a week... Otherwise, a fairly decent experience.

First of all, if you dont know what you are looking at you better have someone you trust go with you. Most unbranded dealerships buy their stock at auctions which means they dont have any history on the vehicle. Check car fax. You will find things wrong with them and you will need to determine if the vehicle is right for you and your budget. I bought a 2003 F250 from this dealer 2 months ago and have had very good luck with it. Di Anne went out of her way to make sure I was happy with my truck and Terry in the shop was super professional. I did get a couple of things done on the truck and was pleased with the work and the way they handled everything. I think they went beyond what most dealerships would have went. I would not hesitate to go back.

Just bought a 2006 E350 6.0 powerstroke diesel van not two days after I had it I went out to start it one morning and it would not build oil pressure and would not start the check engine light came on after I got it started went to a local auto parts store and it was throwing a code for the crank positioning censor. Went and got one brought it to my trusted mechanic where he called me two hours after he had it saying it was all rigged up now I need to put a main wiring harness in it costing me $2,000 because some jack ass went and split a bunch of wires to clear that code BUYER BEWARE BUNCH OF CRACK HEADS WORKING HERE SELLING VERY DANGEROUS CARS AND TRUCK DO NOT TRUST PLEASE READ ALL OF THESE REVIEWS AND DONT FALL VICTIM LIKE THE REST OF US.
