The tall, skinny cashier with short, dark hair is so ugly in his attitude, ( and looks), that after my first visit in September, I decided to go a few miles South to the other Natural Grocers in Co Spgs. By December, the inconvenience allowed me to give the Baptist Rd location another try. The same condescending, unpleasant, snot-nose jerk was STILL there! Even worse, he was barking orders to a shelf stocker, (A boy with long blonde hair who was the ONLY one who smiled and was polite) as if he owned the place. There must have been 15 employees standing around, milling about and DOING NOTHING AT ALL, in an empty store with less than 3 customers. It was annoying to have 4 idiots ask me if I "needed assistance" within a 5 minute time span, one of them rounding the corner was so stupid they asked me again, before the last one that asked had even left the isle! A terribly rude, intrusive and idle staff. And they dont carry half the items the Co Spgs stores, or even Castle Rock does, for that matter. Theyre so anal-retentive that they block off the only reasonable entrance/exit to the store from the main road. One is forced to turn off 105, and take a ridiculously circuitous route, including 3 sharp turns to just get into their 3rd world style parking lot. Did new owners recently acquire this place? Because it, and that ass with the ugly face and attitude do NOT fit Monument!

This is my "go to store" when I want immediate help in finding a health product. The employees greet you as you enter and are always willing to go out of their way to help you find an item. They dont just "point, they walk with you to show you. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. So lucky that I can hit this store on my way home, to fill my water bottles for the week and grab the staples like bread, milk eggs etc. within minutes. I love seeing the same faces of friendly employees since the store opened. It tells you a lot about the management and culture of the store employees.

Very helpful staff. If they are out of stock on an item you want, they will call you the day it comes in. They will also place special orders for you. Its nice knowing all the produce in the store is organic and often local. Their classes (often free) are great. No snake oil here. If youre looking for a small town, family owned store with high quality, reasonably priced natural and organic foods, supplements and personal care products this is the place.

Very limited selection, over priced, minimal help from staff. Waiting in line to check out with several people behind you and the cashiers just want to chit-chat. A lot of produce is stacked in with others but no labeling. Just have to fish through the shelves to find what you want. Been here twice, wont be back. The longer drive to Sprouts, or even one of the bigger stores, is worth it.

Okay so its pricey and I do not have gauged ears and dreadlocks, nor am I in my early twenties so its not a place I feel overly "comfortable". But, there are things here that are of excellent selection like the vitamins and herbal remedies. For actual shopping I think I would choose the local chain natural grocers or wholefoods.They offer a better variety and have sales.

I was very excited to find a store with organic selections after traveling for some time. Most of the country does not have stores like this! Very nice inside with a lot to offer. The man with the long blonde hair was very friendly and helpful. The parking lot was a little odd.. I came in through the exit only lol .

This store is very new, clean and well stocked. The workers are always quick to greet me, help me find what I am looking for, and very nice. I like to stop here driving from Pueblo to Denver for a bathroom break and snacks.
